The space This property is centrally located on 17th Street between the Balboa and Newport Beach piers. You can walk or ride our bikes to anywhere on the peninsula from this home. The best thing about this location is that you are a 5-15 minute walk to over 20+ restaurants, shopping, the balboa fun zone, boat rentals, all while staying at the beach. For those of you with kids, the newly developed lighthouse park is just across the street on the bay making this home an ideal location for families. Check out the video of our home on Youtube. HOME LOCATION Located just a few minutes from the Balboa Pier and just a quick walk to the Fun Zone, & Balboa Island Ferry you are never far from the Action. Directly out in front of the Home is miles of beach where you will find Volleyball Courts, Fire-Pits, and the occasional flag football/ultimate frisbee tournament just off to the Right. From our home, you can safely walk or ride bikes anywhere on the peninsula, balboa island, or down to Huntington Beach (45-minute ride 1 way) along the oceanfront boardwalk. However, with more than 30+ restaurants & bars, shops, electric boat/jet ski rentals, Surfboard/Paddle-board Lessons all within a 2-15 minute walk, you will never need to travel far. For those of you seeking a Daytime adventure, the Catalina Express, Whale Watching Tours, and Sailing Adventures all depart from the docks across the Street. For those of you with kids, the Balboa Fun-Zone is also just across the street making this home an ideal location for families. For those of you with the itch to shop, we recommend hopping on the ferry to Balboa Island. If you can't find what you are looking for, the world-famous Shops at Fashion Island has it all located just a 5-minute taxi ride from the Island. These rules must be reviewed prior to submitting your booking. Staircase/Accessibility Guests must climb stairs to access the home from the garage, the alley, as well as the boardwalk. There is also a full staircase permitting access to 3 of the 4 bedrooms and laundry facilities located on the 2nd level. Air-Conditioning This property includes air conditioning. The thermostat should be set no lower than 74 degrees and turned off when the home is vacant. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee the home will cool to a specific temperature in all bedrooms and spaces Parking Details You are provided 2 Parking Spots in the two-car garage. Mid-Sized SUVs and compact cars are recommended. Laundry A private washer and dryer are conveniently located inside the home for your use. Included in your stay is 4 single use Laundry Powders. High Chair & Pack ’n Play High chair and Pack ‘n Play are available by request only. Please request at least 48 hours prior to your stay, subject to availability. Noise/Construction disclaimer Our home is located in an active beach community. As is common in these areas, noise from construction, municipal services, beachgoers, vehicle and air traffic, adjacent homes, and nearby commercial or residential spaces may occur. Noise outside of our control will not constitute a refund or rental cancellation. Fireplace Warning The fireplace must never be left unattended while in use. Quiet Hours Notice Per City of Newport Beach “Good Neighbor Policy” Quiet Hours are Strictly Enforced between the hours of 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No patio noise is permitted between these hours. Please see house rules for more city noise requirements. Pet Policy This property does not allow pets of any kind but will accommodate service animals.
