Google home and Sonos systems bring this 100 year old beauty into this century. The space From the porch that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean to the cozy living room with functional gas fireplace, this home is a gem to our family and we're here to open it up to you. We've taken care to leave touches because we stay here as well. It's a magical place where memories are made and you can reset. My personal favorite is cooking in the kitchen and looking the left and... Wow, the ocean is right there! It gets you every time! Guest access You are able to access the entire house. Other things to note Access to the beach- you can access the beach right in front of the house. Like much of the seacoast there is a part sand part rock surge wall. So you need to climb over. It’s pretty easy but if you want no rocks, just walk up the street to the break in the surge wall and you can get onto the beach. From there you open onto a sandy beach called Foss Beach. There will be basic staples in the kitchen for your use too: cookie/muffin mix, pasta, oils, vinegar, organic spices. I try to also keep some small batch Rye there. (Get it? Because we’re in Rye!) seriously, it’s delicious and made by a small distillery in central NY. Grab a drink and head to the porch! Kids and babies: There is a new stroller, high chair, baby tub and even kid friendly shampoo and towels on premises. Work it out: We have fresh yoga mats and a TRX for working out. Our beach game is strong: Boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, wagon, beach towels and children’s lifejackets are there for your use too. We also have a small little tent for kids 3 and under. Supergoop sunscreen is there too:) I also have awesome towels (bath and beach), organic cotton sheets and extras in the bathroom in case you forgot anything. We have plenty of books, toys and crafts too (I’m a big knitter and weaver and this is where I come for inspiration). I’ll leave some watercolors and paper too. Take a dabble at painting the scenery- it’s one of my favorite things to do! Use them and have fun. This place is my home so I set it up for everyone’s comfort! Please note, that at this time we are unable to host any guests with assistance animals. Our family is highly allergic and many guests have sensitivities that we have accommodated to. Thank you.
