You'll find yourself staying in a 3 bedroom, 2.25 bathroom, charming Delaware Beach destination of Ocean View. Our house is 1,500 square feet with a beautiful morning breakfast nook, big dinning room table and a very spacious living room with a 70" tv and new surround sound system. We're a short bike ride to the beach, bars and boardwalk! Feel free to take a ride on our bicycles, beach supplies and kayaks. The back yard has a wood fire pit and stone patio next to an outdoor shower. The space This house had a complete interior and exterior redesign to better serve short term guests. You'll find a fun family oriented, wooded neighborhood with our own fenced in back yard, patio area and wood fire pit. Enjoy a short ride (2-3 miles) to the beach or take our bikes! Right in the middle of everything Delaware Beaches have to offer! 15 minutes to Ocean City Maryland, Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, 5 minutes to Bethany Beach, minutes to South Bethany Beach. Be sure to check out all the fun activities Ocean View has to offer in our on site book of flyers. You wont be disappointed with our local food selections! No pets allowed. Guest access Guests have access to the entire driveway, the house, the shed and the backyard. The master bedroom closet is locked as an owners closet. Other things to note We’d like to remind guests of the following rules to maximize everyone's stay: This house is located in a wooded area. We are not acknowledging complaints about squirrels, birds, chipmunks and other wild animals. GUESTS MUST BE 25 AND OVER OR ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT DURING THEIR STAY. Not a party house for either senior weeks, you will not be given access when you arrive! Intended for use by couples and families. The front access is monitored by a camera and neighbors. -Sheets are now included. House cleaners wash the sheets and make the beds after each rental. -Please wash and return used towels prior to checkout. Many guests bring their own towels. -Guests provide their own toilet paper and paper towels although a roll in each location is typically in place. -Guest provide their own soap and bathroom products. - Please notify us immediately if number of guests change. - No excessive noise but have a good time! - No events (unless previously agreed upon) ~Subject to cancellation policy & forfeit of security deposit - Trash and recycling go out Monday nights for early Tuesday morning collection. Trash is collected every Tuesday, recycling is every other so there are two cans. We will notify you which week you are on. Please be aware that you are responsible for your guests. There is no smoking inside the house! PENALTIES -Cigarette butts $50 - Smoking inside $400 cleaning fee - Lost remotes $100 / each -Missing equipment: canoes, bikes, beach equipment. $200+ -Grill is to be cleaned and wiped down from use. -No pets allowed $400 cleaning fee + replacement of items with stains. -Late checkout, $100 an hour for cleaners as they wait. Heat and A/C controls are located in the hallway near the bathroom. 70-74 is recommended for AC. Never set below 68 on hot days or the ac unit may freeze. 4 normal size vehicles are able to park in the driveway. Check out is 11:00am and check-in is 3:00pm. We are not able to always accommodate late checkout or early check-in due to other reservations from multiple renting sources and cleaning services schedules. Please wash and return used towels prior to checkout. Many guests bring their own towels. SHED: keep bikes and equipment in the shed especially at checkout. CHECKOUT: - Trash and recycling must be put into cans. Trash and recycling are collected street side on Tuesdays, please put the trash and recycling out. Gray is trash, green is recycling. - Clean up - Turn off lights - Turn off electronics - Turn off gas to grill - Clean and put away pots, pans and dishes - Close and lock doors - Dead bolt pin selected is activated at check-in and deactivated at checkout time. - There is often some detergent left over but not always. Please plan on bringing some pods for the wash.
