Sun-drenched character home in a central location

Sunny character home in a fantastic part of North Oakland / South Berkeley. We recently restored and renovated our home with high-end fixtures and comfortable mid-century furniture. So much sun, a bunch of reading nooks, outdoor and indoor areas for entertaining, and more. Working areas for three people (we work from home: filmmaker/writer). Dozens of shops+restaurants within walking distance, 20-25min drive to SF (unless traffic is wild). Great public transport or borrow our bikes! The space Here are some of our favorite features: - Amazing deck with grill, great outdoor sofas, beautiful plants, lighting and all-day sun - Breakfast nook with loads of sun for enjoying morning coffee - Soaking bath that gets late afternoon sun - Pull-down projector screen for watching films - Built-in 1930s cabinetry with an exhaustive liquor and wine selection. Make a gin and tonic and sit on the porch as the sun sets. - Super comfortable outdoor Fermob french patio furniture - Beautifully cared for teak and mid-century furniture throughout. (Please please take good care of it)! Guest access The house is a duplex. You are welcome to use the shared laundry (located in a shared garage) and the shared backyard -- although please respect them. Our neighbors are always open to joining you for an evening bottle of wine, but will also leave you be if you want privacy outside. Other things to note Note that we have had some changes to the house that are reflected in the later photos: the living room + dining room have swapped, and we have a custom-made, REALLY comfortable sofa that is baked in sun! Downstairs is now carpeted with all-natural organic wool; there is no longer a sofa bed as pictured, but instead a glider + giant cushion stack for lounging. Note a crib is available but is currently disassembled and will need you to assemble (it's Ikea, so good luck to you...)
