We have a few small rooms that are less and a few larger rooms that are more. Feel free to ask if you'd like a discount, or an upgrade. Room options will be based on availability. Internet is 1 gig, which is the fastest offered by any residential provider I know. Routers throughout the house so strong wifi is everywhere. The mansion feels nearly empty most of the time, both because it is enormous, and because the residents tend to be busy. There is a wonderful core of long-term residents here, and they set a great mood for everyone. Many wonderful friendships have formed at the mansion. The residents are friendly, but not intrusive. You will have no problem getting a good night sleep. Cleaning of common areas at least once a week. You will find the mansion to be very clean. Parking on the street is plentiful, you will never need to leave the block to park. Parking on-site is also plentiful, but cannot be promised without fees, because if everyone wanted it, there would not be enough. Parking on a “guaranteed” basis is provided, if agreed to in advance. This is $6 a day, or $3 a day with rentals of 6 months or longer. There are a few very large rooms... 50% to over 100% larger than the average room. Each comes with a mini-fridge (not so mini, around 3 cubic feet). These rooms add $10 a Night. People sometimes ask what room will be theirs. I will know if you choose to reserve one of the few extra large rooms, or if your reservation is last minute. Otherwise, I cannot know, because of the complexity of the different room schedules, and because many people extend. The mansion has 19 bedrooms. One or two are sometimes empty. And a few usually have 2 people, so around 20 - 23 people usually share the home. There is PLENTY of space for everyone. The mansion has: * 2 complete kitchens (1st and 3d floors) * 3 laundries (basement, 2nd and 3d floors), all free of charge. *Kitchens have three refrigerators, plus several rooms have mini-fridges (rooms with mini-fridges are very large, for $10 more a night). So, there are at least 7 refrigerators. * Tons of kitchen cabinet space for your non-perishable food. * 9 full bathrooms. 2 on first floor, 4 on the second, 2 on the third, plus one in the basement. No rooms have private bathrooms. However, if you reserve two or more rooms, it may be possible. * Most rooms have desks. If yours is the rare room that doesn't, and you need one, I'll get it to you within 48 hours. * There is lots of space to work in the common areas. Usually, there is no one in at least one common area. * There are occasional film shoots, during which the film crews may need privacy. These shoots are contained, so that there are always common areas for the residents to enjoy.
