I currently have tools, lawn and snow removal supplies in the garage so there isn't room for guests to park vehicles inside at this time. Dog Owners: Your pets must accompany you. If they are to be left inside unattended. They must be in a crate. No exceptions. I have an XL hard sided pet porter on site. Dogs are not aloud on furniture or beds. If these guidelines cannot be followed then please stay elsewhere. I do not charge a pet fee. I want to continue hosting guests with dogs. However, after 5 years and over $24,000 in pet damages. Please understand I have these guidelines in place for a reason. Dogs are animals. Whenever they are thrown out of their routine they do strange things that they won't do at home. If you are new to traveling with a dog or don't travel with them often and you see anxiety or signs of stress that worry you. Let me know and I will gladly refund you for any unused nights if you need to return home. I travel with two very active dogs so I understand the challenges. Guest access Keyless entry. Door code and a detailed cabin supply list provided a few days before you arrive. This will help you with your pre-vacation packing and shopping. Check in time is usually flexible so you can get your relaxation time started sooner than having to wait around to check in. I take a full day for turnover. That means no guests check in or out the same day. So the cabin will be fully cleaned, stocked and ready for you and your family! I usually reach out ahead of time so you know everything is set for your arrival. Dogs are welcome. They cannot be left unattended inside. They must be in a crate or go with you on adventures. Dogs are not aloud on furniture or beds. Other things to note The price listed is the flat rate for 5 guests. This cabin is comfortably furnished for up to 5 people. There are 4 individual beds, 4 seats at dining table and 2 bar stools at the island. 5 spots for relaxing in the living room. The cabin is in a rural area. That means no access to a municipal water system or sewer. I have a drilled well. The water has trace amounts of iron. The water is tested and is safe to drink. I personally drink the water and feel it's good quality. We have a traditional septic. Please dump food grease or large amounts of oil into provided cans. Please dispose all types of wet wipes, tampons and hygiene products in the garbage. I provide waxed sanitary bags to dispose of items in a more discrete way. Only toilet paper is to be flushed. Dog owners: Dogs cannot be left unattended while you are out. They must be crated if inside alone or you must take them with on adventures. I have an XL hard sided pet porter on site if you don't want to bring your kennel or do not have one. I have a heavy duty cable tie out for dogs that like to roam. Dogs cannot be just left staked outside while you are away. They can get loose, run away, get lost or hit out on the busy county road that is nearby (yes all these things have happened). We have neighbors that have been given permission to call the Constable if dogs are left outside for hours barking while you are gone and you will be issued a citation. In order to keep my furniture and bedding in good condition. Dogs are not aloud on furniture or beds. I do have a plethora of pet supplies on site including sheets to cover the couch and recliners if you have couch hoppers at home. Leashes, dog waste bags, water bowls, soap, dog towels, cable tie out, crate, sheets, treats and an emergency skunk kit (my dogs got sprayed). I try my best to be accommodating. After 5 years hosting and over $24,000 in pet related damages my patience is wearing thin so I do apologize for repeating. I would like to add that if you don't travel with your pet often and you notice a high level of anxiety or your dog starts acting out being in a new place. I will gladly work with you if you need to return home. I really love to have high quality cookware. It's non-stick. Please Please Please don't use metal forks or spoons in them. I have gone through many items in the last 5 years. Please use the silicone or nylon tools provided. Hardwood Lane was previously the snowmobile trail. As of 07/2024 the route changed because of trespassing and destruction on a property to our north. Please refer to new trail maps. ATV access has now been granted to all Marinette county roads! So connecting to the trails is easy from the Hideaway via County Rd C! This is the only property I manage. I do all the cleaning and maintenance myself. I take being a host seriously and provide you the same high quality supplies and ultimately experience that I want and expect when I am paying to stay on vacation. I travel using airbnb myself. I promise to care about your stay. Contact me if you have questions, need something or have an issue. I am here for you from the second you book a stay until after you leave (Forgot a favorite pillow? Need a folding portable chair to take to the beach? Need more eggs? No worries!) My style of hosting: If you showed up in a storm with only clothes. All the stores are closed and you are stuck with no provisions?! You arrive to Hideaway and find all the toiletries, medicine, pantry food staples for meals, drinks, snacks and condiments you need to enjoy yourself without feeling like you are "going without" or missing something. If you are planning your trip and have questions or need an accommodation I am flexible. I want to make sure you have all the little things that make a trip easy and special.
