Our County Chalet is located on a 500+ acre working farm which is permanently conserved with the Land Trust for Tennessee, and certified wildlife Habitat, features beautiful gardens, ponds, gazebos, a fire pit, and amazing hillside views overlooking a covered bridge, barns, and pastures of horses - Events: No parties or events are allowed without the owners' prior written permission. - Identification: ID is required for all adults staying on the property before or at arrival. The space Sycamore Springs feels like your world away retreat with private mile long driveway into the 500 plus acre farm. The A-Frame home boasts a rustic country charm but with all of the modern comforts. You will feel like you are in the mountains of east TN but within a hour drive of the capital of Nashville. Enjoy sipping your favorite drink while admiring the amazing rolling hills of middle Tennessee, or building a fire in the fire pit. Wander through beautifully landscaped gardens, relax beside tranquil ponds, enjoy a quiet afternoon in one of two gazebos, or gather around the fire pit beneath the stars. Nature lovers will appreciate that portions of the property are designated Certified Wildlife Habitat, providing opportunities to spot birds, butterflies, deer, and other native wildlife throughout the seasons. As an active farm, you may also see horses, cattle, mules, and honeybees as you explore the grounds. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat, a family getaway, a place to reconnect with nature, or simply a quiet escape from city life, Sycamore Springs offers an unforgettable setting with modern comforts in a timeless rural landscape. Sycamore Springs is a private estate and working farm, please note the following guidelines for your stay: - Events: Parties, weddings, commercial photography, and large gatherings are not permitted without prior written approval. These activities may require a separate agreement, additional fees, and insurance. - Identification: Photo IDs are required in advance or upon arrival for all adult guests. Guest access We require government issued IDs for all adults over 18 in advance. Number of guests when booking must be under 6, other guest only with advanced permission. NO parties or events allowed without owners permission and separate contract. One of the unique features of Sycamore Springs is the privacy you'll enjoy. The home is situated on hundreds of conserved acres, allowing you to relax and unwind in a peaceful country setting. Please note that this is an active working farm. During your stay, you may see ranch staff tending to the horses, cattle, or other farm operations in the surrounding pastures. We ask that you give them space as they carry out their daily work. Guests are welcome to explore and hike portions of the property. Because livestock grazing areas and farm operations change throughout the year, please check with your host for the most up-to-date information on approved hiking routes and areas that are safe to access. Fishing may also be available in designated areas with prior permission from your host. We are happy to point you toward the best spots and help you make the most of your stay. Other things to note When you leave Check-out Instructions: 1. Please leave the house the way you found it, returning everything to its original place. This will save valuable time during the cleaning process. 2. Please leave beds unmade and towels in laundry room. 3. Please turn OFF lights and fans. 4. Please shut windows and doors. 5. Please take bagged trash to the bin outside or the large bin at the horse barn. 6. Run the dishwasher or handwash dirty dishes. 7. Leave us a 5 Star review and we will do the same.
