Located in the heart of the Hudson Valley and close to shops and restaurants, Cedar Hill provides easy access to Hudson (20 min), Rhinebeck (15 min) and Bard College (10 min). The space Cedar Hill was designed and built by its owners and features a wide flagstone porch on three sides, accessed by a wall of glass doors.   The house features an open plan with lots of natural light.  Sliding glass doors open out from all the main rooms on the first floor. The house is fully air conditioned. As secluded as Cedar Hill feels while you are there, you are within easy reach of world class sights, such as Hudson River mansions, quaint small towns, and Bard College with its famed art collection and performing arts center.  The scenic destination town of Hudson, with its artisan and antique shops and restaurants and bars, is only 20 minutes away.  You can rent sailboats in Tivoli, a mere 5 minutes, and you can hike at Clermont State Park, Poet’s Walk, and all through the Catskill Mountains. Local food markets keep you supplied with fresh local vegetables, fruits, honey, milk, cheese, eggs, and meat.  Or order in from one of the great local restaurants.
