With 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, there is room for large families or groups. **INTERIOR** ** PLEASE NOTE: While this is a lovely home, please remember that it is a rustic log cabin in the woods and there can be bugs, mice, bats, etc. It's not a high end, city hotel, so please be understanding if small issues like this pop up during your stay. ** Our home is located on a private dirt road with a 10MPH speed limit. In the winter months, we recommend that guest bring an All-Wheel Drive or 4-Wheel Drive vehicle. Our road can be icy and snowy in the winter. We have a local plow company that keeps the snow cleared but it can still be challenging. We are not responsible for you if your car gets stuck because you don’t have an appropriate vehicle for mountain driving in the winter. Please use caution and only drive here in an appropriate car. No 2 wheel drive cars if it’s been snowing or is icy! ** PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT allow fires in the fireplace from May 1-October 31. There’s too great of a fire danger to allow it during our dry summer months with high fire danger. ** PLEASE NOTE: This house does NOT have Air Conditioning. There are several fans and ceiling fans to help it stay cool. We recommend that guests open windows in the evening and turn on fans so it cools down overnight. Some of the windows upstairs don't have screens, but you can put the square fans inside the window opening and that will minimize bugs flying in. Make sure to close the house up before it gets warm in the morning. ** PLEASE NOTE: There are not window coverings in this home except in the main level room with the Queen bed. the house is located in a very remote and private area and you’re able to view and enjoy nature from every window of the house. MAIN FLOOR: Dual-sided fireplace with impressive rock chimney and cozy seating space. Game room with pool, ping pong, darts, games and more. Large dining room with seating for 10 people. Gourmet kitchen with high end appliances and eat-at bar. Bedroom with comfortable Queen bed. Full bathroom with walk-in shower. Bedroom with 2 Twin beds. Laundry room Coat/storage closet OPEN LOFT: Entertainment room with large couch, TV/DVD, Game console, books plus foosball table and 2 Twin beds. Master bedroom with a King bed and a wooden crib. Full bathroom with soaking tub, separate shower and dual sink vanity. BASEMENT LEVEL: Large room with couch and two custom made bunk beds with 4 Queen beds. Bathroom with walk in shower. **EXTERIOR** Enjoy the large covered wrap around deck overlooking the creek/pond. This is located at the end of a private road and in a quiet rural neighborhood. **The area around our home is all private property so please DO NOT TRESPASS on our neighbor's land. DO NOT cross over on the other side of the driveway onto our neighbor's property. You may enjoy our area around the house and down to our pond, but please do not leave the immediate area around the house. Please note, we do not accept any reservation requests from guests without positive reviews from other Airbnb hosts. PLEASE READ AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION!!!!!! Do not send a reservation request without having fully read this section and ask any questions you might have. ** Please note that our cancellation policy is strict. We will not issue refunds due to events being canceled. ** PLEASE NOTE: There is NO outdoor BBQ Grill at this house. The gas cook top in the kitchen has large grill on one side of it. ** PLEASE NOTE: Due to this home being a log built home in the forest, it’s incredibly difficult to keep small critters such as mice and bats from getting in. We do our best to limit this and have a pest control company that works diligently on preventing this the best they can but please be aware that you might encounter these during your stay. ** Well-behaved dogs will be considered with an additional $75 cleaning fee. Dogs must remain on leash while outside and must not be left unattended inside unless crated. ** Our home is located on a private dirt road with a 10MPH speed limit. No 2 wheel drive cars if it’s been snowing or is icy! ** Please respect our neighbors by adhering our quiet hours of 10pm-8am. ** During the winter months, we must remove sections of our back deck to allow snow to fall through- we install a temporary safety fencing during this time, but please remain cautious. ** Please be careful with the fireplace in our home and follow instructions provided. Not following instructions could result in damage to the fireplace glass which we will charge the guest to replace so please be diligent in following instructions. Permit number: UP1913 Guest access The entire house is available for guests' use except the locked closet in the master bedroom and the shop in the basement. The Garage is kept locked and is not for guests' use. Other things to note ** We do not offer refunds or discounts if the power goes out during your stay as we have no control over that. If the power goes out, the fireplace can be used for heat, the cook stove can be lit with a lighter or match and there are many LED lanterns around the home. Because the home is located on a well there is not water when the power goes out. We will provide water for drinking if this happens.
