It's truly an outdoor paradise! Many road/mtn bike, ATV trails and roads right out the front door. World class fishing/hunting. Boat rentals available. The cottage is great for couples or families. 1st floor bedroom with queen size bed, upstairs bedroom with 2 full size beds, open area with twin beds and loft area with TV and twin bed. Large fully equipped kitchen. Coffee/tea and paper products provided. Washer/dryer (detergent provided). Two refrigerators. Lots of seating in the kitchen. Movies/games/puzzles provided. WiFi and satellite TV. TV located in family room and upstairs. For chilly days or nights there is electric heat in addition to the wood burning stove (wood is provided). Gas grill (propane provided). Lots of outdoor seating in addition to an outdoor fireplace and fire ring. Beach is right in front of the cottage and great for swimming. The sunsets are truly spectacular! Bald eagles nest in the trees by the cottage. I love listening to the many loons on the lake. Truly a peaceful and beautiful area. The lake is 11 miles long and is never crowded! Miles and miles of ATV, mountain bike, road bike trails and roads. Public beach with sand volleyball court, basketball, tennis courts are all within walking distance. Long lake golf course is 1 mile away. So much to see and do in the small towns of St. Agatha, Madawaska, Fort Kent. Edmunston, New Brunswick, Canada is only 30 minutes away. Guests will access the cottage via the sliding glass door off the front porch. When arriving to the cottage look for the 55 Green Point rd, LOT 340 sign at the end of the driveway. The cottage is white with red shutters. Prior to your arrival I will unlock the sliding glass door so you are free to enter and make yourselves at home. Check in is 4pm and check out is 11am Myself or my property manager will be available if you need anything during your stay. Our cottage is located on Long lake in Northern Aroostook county. Please note that there are two Long Lakes in Maine....we are on the Northernmost lake. In addition to lots of water activities right outside your door there are many hiking, bicycling, ATV trails. Plenty of parking for your trailers or toys. There is a public beach with tennis courts and basketball nets within walking distance. Long Lake Golf course is 1 mile from the cottage. Surrounding small towns offer great "Mom and Pop" type restaurants. Grocery shopping can be done in the town of Madawaska or via the smaller shops in St. Agatha or Frenchville. Fort Kent is just 25 minutes away. Edmunston, New Brunswick Canada is only 20 minutes away. Madawaska is one of the 4 corners of the USA! It’s the most North Eastern Corner! This area is very rich with French Acadian culture.
