Welcome to your own private oasis on the Hillsborough River with breathtaking water and downtown Tampa views. Relax on your own private dock with a cocktail while you wave to passing boaters, kayakers and the occasional dolphin. The space The house sits on a dock IN the Hillsborough River. You will instantly relax when you walk into the living room and are greeted with sweeping views of the river and downtown Tampa. The house was built over 50 years ago ( perfect if you are a lover of the charm of old houses) and is updated with modern amenities and decorated "shabby chic" in the old Florida style. You will spend most of your time sitting out on the dock, watching the passing boaters, wildlife and the beautiful view of downtown Tampa. There is nothing fancy about the boathouse, but it has what we all need -a comfy bed, fast WIFI and a comfortable and clean space to relax and get away from it all! Guest access You have the entire house to yourself, the dock is for the exclusive use of boathouse guests. The parking lot is shared with the other house that sits on the property, which is also a vacation rental. If you have a large group traveling with you, consider renting the house that sits on the shoreline- it's a two story duplex, called " The Bungalow on the Hillsborough River" and the " Perch on the Hillsborough River". Other things to note There is a private, gated parking lot in front of the house that is shared with another house which is also a vacation rental. We are taking the recommended steps as presented by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for cleaning, disinfecting and preparing our condo for your arrival. We are following the protocols laid out by the CDC and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for Hard (non-porous) Surfaces, Soft (Porous) Surfaces and Electronics. The linens, towels, bed sheets, etc. are washed per manufacturers guidelines.
