The space The "Grand Dugout Near Grand Park P-pong AirHcky Fsball" includes: -1200+ total sq ft space that has received 5-star reviews from families with children visiting the area as part of youth traveling sports teams (only 6 miles to Grand Park); from concert attendees; from families in the area for family reunions; and from golfers in the area for golf tournaments. -Office desk, adjustable office chair, external 27" monitor, and keyboard have been added to also make this a great option for road warriors looking for not just a good place to rest but also get work done! -Bedroom has a queen memory foam mattress bed -Large walk-in closet with plenty of room for luggage, hanging clothes, and any other items -Full-size microwave plus a coffeemaker and hotpot in room -Small refrigerator is located in the rec room area next to the bedroom. -Continental breakfast is provided in main floor hallway. -Recreational/lounge/sleeping area adjacent to the bedroom is a 1000+ sq ft finished space that has ping pong, air hockey, and foosball tables, plus a large 65" smart tv in a comfortable sitting area, and there is a table that will seat up to six. Use of this area is exclusive to your group when you reserve this listing. -The 1000+ sq ft area (outside the bedroom) has sleeping space for up to 4 (in addition to the 2 in the bedroom) on 2 twin beds and 2 air mattresses -Those in 1000+ sq ft area have a different access door to bathroom than those in bedroom -There is a new 40,000 grain water softener and a whole-house water filter that ensures you have high quality water during your stay. -A fullsize refrigerator is available in the garage for storing additional refrigerated items -Wifi (ultra high speed 1 GB download and upload) is available -All bedding spaces have electrical outlets available for recharging phones, plugging in game devices, etc. -Use of washer and dryer in laundry room available on request Also be aware: -Multiple pizza places deliver, and less than mile away (on the route to and from Grand Park) are Subway, a Chinese food take-out place, a Pizza King restaurant, and a Mexican food restaurant. Only 4 minutes away is Wolfie's Grill, a local favorite with great views at Morse Marina out over Morse Reservoir, and Rio Grande Mexican restaurant. -Base rate includes four people; more than four increases rate by $10/person. -The multi-night stay discount is automatically provided in the price at the time a reservation request is made, assuming you meet the other booking requirements and agree to follow all house rules. Finally, a word about our cleaning process that we follow after each guest visit is completed: -All beds are stripped completely down to the mattress protectors. All bedding (fitted sheet, flat sheet, blanket, and coverlet) are washed in the washer and dryer. We maintain double sets of bedding for each bed so that we can do a fast turnover of each room the same day if necessary. Pillow cases and pillow covers are both removed from pillows used by guests and washed. Covers are then placed on pillows and pillows are placed on our "pick-a-pillow" rack (see picture) for selection and use by incoming guests. -Bathroom is thoroughly cleaned. Tub/shower, toilet surfaces, and vanities are all sprayed with scubbing bubbles and then every inch is wiped down using sponge. Toilet bowl is cleaned and scrubbed with toilet bowl cleaner. Mirrors are cleaned with glass/window cleaner. All bottles of toiletries, including those in the shower, are completely wiped down with disinfecting wipes. All surfaces that are routinely touched, including door handles, light switches and switchplates, frig and microwave doors, tv remote controls, etc. are wiped down with disinfecting wipes. Interiors of microwaves and minifriges are cleaned. Shower curtain is taken down and washed. Bathroom floor mat is removed and washed. All towels and washcloths used by previous guests are removed and washed. Note that as with bedding, we have extra shower curtains, floor mats, towels, and washcloths so that room can be quickly turned around if necessary. All trash in trash cans is removed and new plastic trash bags placed in the cans. The robotic vacuum cleaner is run for at least one full charge (about 2 hours) in each room while the other cleaning and washing is taking place. The bathroom floor is scrubbed by hand with a pinesol and water solution. Any cups and glasses used by guests are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. In-room coffeemaker and hot pot are checked for use and cleaned as needed. Guest access Front entrance (has keypad doorlock and code will be sent when reservation is confirmed), main hallway, stairs to basement, all 1200+ sq ft finished part of basement including bedroom, bathroom and rec room area. Breakfast may be eaten at table and chairs on screened-in porch on nice days! During your stay Hosts are experienced travelers. One host (Janet) lived in Luxembourg for three years and is conversational in French. Other host (John) has traveled to 26 countries on 6 continents. We have raised six children (three boys and three girls) and five are now college graduates. Other things to note We don't allow guests to bring pets due to allergies. Please make us aware if you have a service animal so that we can discuss whether our venue might be appropriate for you and your service animal or not.
