This raised ranch-style home in the Pocono Mountains is in a gated lake community known as The Hideout. Hideout amenities include access to 2 beaches, pools, golf, a fitness center, a community center with a restaurant, ski & tube slopes & more. The home is a 4 br, 3 ba with a full finished basement and backyard space, including a large patio with built in fire pit and deck with a barbecue. With plenty of entertainment space, 2 fireplaces, and a bar in the basement, you'll feel right at home. About this space Note: Cleaning fee includes a $100+ community registration fee. Enjoy the outdoors, amenities and everything the Poconos has to offer in this well maintained, spacious home. Grill on the deck, relax in the rocking chairs on the full covered porch, make s'mores by the fire pit with plenty of Adirondack chairs or enjoy the gas fireplace while playing pool and watching a movie in the beautifully finished basement tv room. The main floor family room offers a cozy couch with large screen TV and fireplace Honesdale and Hawley are about a 25 min drive featuring local shops, antiques, baristas, wineries and breweries, restaurants and museums. The Hideout is a four season, recreational community maintains over forty (40) miles of paved roads and modern central sewer and water systems. Part of the Wallenpaupack Watershed, the community has three main bodies of water commonly used for recreational purposes: Roamingwood Lake (198 acres); Deerfield Lake (25 acres); and Brooks Lake (9 acres). Also located within the community are Windemere Lake (1 acre); Hidden Lake (1 acre); and Big Springs Pond (3 acres). Guests are greeted by our Entrance Pond (3.2 acres) and eventually makes its way down to Lake Wallenpaupack via Ariel Creek. A Four Season Resort Community: 24 Hour Security, Gated Entrance, Public Utilities, Central Water and Sewer, Clubhouse, Lodge, Campgrounds, 250 Acres Of Pristine Woodlands Recreation Galore: Recreational Sports Complex, Golf Course, Indoor/Outdoor Tennis, Power Boat Lake, Two Sand Beaches, Two Heated Outdoor Pools, Physical Fitness Center, Mini Golf, Art Center, Woodworkers Building, Ski Lift and Lodge, Tubing Run. (Amenity fees apply) Guest access The only restricted spaces are locked closets and the detached garage. Other things to note Great local restaurants to visit! We recommend visiting discovernepa.com for the most up to date information! Important note the driveway is steep in winter months it’s recommended to have an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle. We have plowing contracts but the driveway can be slippery. The primary rental group (3 unrelated adults) shall receive 3 amenity badges automatically within their rental packet. If anyone else in the rental party wishes to have amenity badges, those can be purchased for an additional non-refundable fee at the POA, Tues-Sat8AM-4PM. Please note we do not supply beach chairs or beach towels.
