Reed's on the River Cabin 2 on the Sturgeon River

Completely renovated log cabin located on the beautiful Sturgeon River. Cabin originally built in the 1940's and remodeled in 2021. It has the charm of the old cabin but with updated inside, plumbing, electric, furnishings and amenities. Reed's on the River is located on 350 ft. of the Sturgeon River with 6 other cabins on the property to rent. All cabins have unobstructed views of the river where you can fish or end your tubing/kayaking adventure at your front door. The space We are pet friendly please see pet policy, and pet fee's below. This is a cozy cabin ideal for 2 to 4 people at most. It features a kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, microwave and induction cooktop. The cabin is a perfect spot to visit May through October as the weather is wonderful. The Sturgeon River is very well known for it's fishing, especially in the Spring and the Fall. It is also the fastest flowing river in the lower peninsula of Michigan making it ideal for tubing and adventurous kayaking. The leaves changing in October is a -must see. We have worked hard to provide comfort, fun, beautiful grounds and service so that you can make life long memories. Guest access Please note that due to extremely limited parking, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate trailers or more than 2 cars per cabin. Please ask us for suggestions on close by marinas that have overnight parking available for trailers for a small fee. Other things to note We do allow up to 2 dogs per cabin. The charge is $25 per night per dog and will be collected at check in. We ask that you clean up after your dog and do not allow them on furniture. The cabins do not have AC but ceiling fans in each bedroom and living room. Thank you!
