Cool Ridge Cabin

Enjoy the peace of this cozy cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, baking pans, dishes and serving utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, crock pot, blender. We supply coffee etc., salt, pepper. Bath towels, wash clothes, toilet paper and soaps. The beds are made with fresh linens. The covered deck faces the woods where you can enjoy the sound of the river. Cook out on the grill and enjoy a fire in the firepit. Wash your treasures on the outside table. The space The Cabin is small but cozy with 2 queen beds in separate rooms. the living area has a sofa, small cafe style table with 2 stools, 2 bar stools at the kitchen bar. The deck has a table and various comfortable chairs. Cool Ridge Retreat is a 300-acre property with a mile of Ouachita River front. Mt Ida, Arkansas is 10 miles away. There are several excellent crystal mines to explore, awesome hiking and mountain biking trails, fishing on the river and lake, kayaking or canoeing. Guest access Enjoy access to the Ouachita River, exploring the River banks, hiking on our 300 acre property or just lounging on the cabin deck listening to the river and the wildlife. I am usually available to show you the property including the horses, if you are interested in that. Other things to note If you plan to spend time on the river, please have good water shoes as the rocks can be difficult. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent. you may want to bring folding lawn chairs, extra towels (for taking to the river) There are a few restaurants in Mt Ida and Bob's Food City grocery store but you may want to bring groceries with you. There is a new Dollar General in Pencil Bluff for some basic needs
