Hideaway Hollow Hideout is a hidden gem located 5 mts from Scott Air Force Base, hospitals, 15 mts to Mid Amer Airport, 20 mts to STL. Located off I-64 in Shiloh, IL in a rural, wooded setting that is lakefront. A private gravel drive leads you into Hideaway Hollow. Home was refurbed in 2016, equipped for a comfortable stay, W&D included, charcoal grill, memory foam beds. Not suitable for small children or handicap accessible due to stairs. MILITARY and TRAVEL NURSES welcome! Enjoy the peaceful lakefront view while sitting on the back deck and barbecuing on the Weber grill. There is a covered porch on the front of the home as well with an enclosed sunporch with wet bar and mini fridge. Fishing is allowed. No small children, please, due to slightly sloping lot down to waterfront that is not fenced. Front door has keyless entry/code required. There is a circle gravel drive for plenty of parking. My co-host husband lives in Hideaway Hollow and can help with any issues. I am always available by phone or text. Very few neighbors around, secluded area. You are allowed to fish as we own the private gravel road that is lakefront as well as the home is lakefront. There is a nice section of adjoining flatland that we own that makes an excellent area for dog walking. Nearby neighbor has two Frenchies that may possibly greet you if outside and a few fenced chicks🐣 Public bus transportation is available within one mile, and Metro Link is available by Scott Air Force Base, 5 minutes away. A great means of transportation when attending sporting events in STL. Shiloh has sidewalks great for biking, a wonderful park with walking track, and a dog park. If you take hour-long showers, this may not be the place for you due to water being hauled in and stored in a cistern. 2 gal. and 1 case is provided for drinking as well as a Brita filter. Spectrum Wifi for our traveling workers, online schooling, and for use with the Smart TV via your own Netflix, Roku or Hulu account. Great cell phone reception in this area! Antenna TV in 3 rooms. (at least two Smart TVs provided.) Fully furnished with plenty of supplies. 4 roll supply of TP, 1 roll paper towel provided. There is a small metal shed that may be used for storage.
