By the turn of the century, vacation homes had been built for summer vacation spots. William Bruns constructed and owned these summer cottages that he rented to summer vacationers. The cottages were built to take advantage of the shade trees and Lake Erie's cool breezes. Visitors and summer residents enjoyed boating, fishing, and swimming. In the nineteen thirties, the cottages were converted to year round homes because of a housing shortage. Now the area is a popular vacation destination due to it's close proximity to all the great area attractions and it's natural beauty. We are pet friendly! As dog owners we love to travel with our pups, we wanted our homes to offer the same opportunity for our guests. We do have a few rules. 1. The fee is $50 (no more than two). 2. Please pick up after your pet outside. 3. Keep your pets in a crate when away from the house if possible. 4. If your pet sheds, please try to clean up the furniture the best you can.
