Welcome to our quirky, cozy house on Lake Raponda. Come and stay in this unique house where you will find peace and quiet, hiking or snowshoeing in the woods, swimming or boating in the lake, while just a few minutes from downtown Wilmington. It it just 15 minutes from skiing at Mount Snow, 35 minutes from Stratton, and cross country skiing all around. The house is located across the road from the lake, with a few minutes walk to the beach and the boat launch. It is a paradise in all seasons. The space The house is tall and skinny with high ceilings and lots of space. The bathroom has a claw foot tub for you to relax and rejuvenate in. There is also an outdoor shower for the summer months. The house is located on 2 acres across the street from Lake Raponda. A short walk in one direction puts you at the beach for swimming and picnicking. A few minutes in the other direction is the public boat launch. A short car ride brings you to adorable downtown Wilmington with restaurants and shops. Fifteen minutes away is Mount Snow with excellent downhill skiing. There is plenty of hiking, biking, and swimming to be had in the area. Guest access The house is where you will stay but there is a small cabin on the property where there is a small chance my husband or I will be during your stay. most of the time it will be empty though. Other things to note While this house is not completely remote, there is always a chance that some animal will pass through. We have seen bears, deer, turkeys and weasels. Do not leave any food, drink, or trash outside over night. If you have young children please be mindful of the stairs, the ladder that no one should climb in the master bedroom, and the walkway and walls in the garden.
