"Quiet 2 bedroom/loft within a 5min walk to downtown restaurants, coffee, breweries, and shops. There are 2 full baths, dining room with seating for 8, living room (w/ wood burning fireplace, master bath with jacuzzi tub and sauna), fully stocked kitchen (microwave, oven/stove, coffee maker, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, prep utensils). Outside patio with table/chairs/ and char coal BBQ. The space Each unit offers an open space design. Cathedral ceilings, combined kitchen, dining and living room. 1800 sq ft. Sleeps 8: 2 BR (1Q, 2 T) separate sleeping loft with Q sofa bed. A second Q sofa bed w/ memory foam mattress in the living room. Plenty of room for guests to sprawl out comfortably. Wood burning fireplaces, whirlpool jacuzzi tubs and sauna make for an enjoyable after ski relaxation. Each unit has its own private entrance into the unit from the parking area. Unit features a private patio from the living room, and a private deck from the loft area. Deck and patio chairs are provided. The Lake Placid Club Lodges are located between 2 18-hole golf courses and Mirror Lake offering access to the municipal natural sand beach. Summer months there are watercraft outfitters offering watercraft rentals from paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking. Winter offers crossing country skiing on Mirror Lake, walking distance to the Olympic speed skating oval and the toboggan chute. The convenience of the club’s location offers visitors walking distance along Lake Placid village main street. Starting at the Olympic Arena, and Convention center, there are numerous ethnic restaurants and shopping from unique Adirondack keepsakes to outdoor outfitters are all within minutes from the lodge's location. The Ski center is 9 miles, the ski shuttle bus stops on Mirror Lake Drive, in front of the Lodges. Monday through Thursday 8am to 6pm. Fri – Sat – Sun 8am to 8pm. The laundry facility for the Resort is also located in the Algonquin Lodge.
