Cozy, quiet Charlottesville apartment for one with a comfy bed, large full bathroom and fully equipped kitchenette just over one mile from Historic Downtown. Close to public transit stops and walkable to Downtown. Walking distance to the Rivanna Trail for a hike in the woods. Free street parking in a quiet neighborhood. The space The entrance to the terrace-level apartment is through a shared laundry room. If you have mobility limitations, please note that there are two small sets of stairs prior to entering. Upon entry you’ll find a small landing area with a coat rack and utility closet, then the kitchen with a gas range/oven, toaster, small fridge, coffee pot, tea kettle, microwave, pantry storage, dishes, utensils and cooking supplies. This area has a full-sized window and a smaller window that let in lots of natural light. The dining area has a table, bright lighting, and comfortable seating options for working on a laptop or just enjoying a delicious meal. WiFi signal throughout the entire space with 1G Ting Fiber Internet. The bathroom is large and has excellent water pressure, with a tub and shower, soap, shampoo, lotion and towels (including dark towels for makeup removal). The bedroom has a full-size bed with a marshmallow cushiony mattress, a closet with a small dresser and clothes hangers, space heater and fan for personalized temperature control (the house has central air as well), and a flat screen tv with streaming options via Roku. Guest access After entering through the shared laundry room, the apartment is totally private with a deadbolt lock and a walled-off doorway. Other things to note Two cats live upstairs - they sometimes chase each other around at night, but they are not allowed downstairs or in the room directly above the apartment bedroom. A tenant lives in a cottage on the property and shares the laundry room infrequently - you may see him out on one of his daily walks. The listing is for one guest only. This space is ideal for a single person in Charlottesville for work, visiting family, sightseeing, hiking, or just getting a change of scenery. It is not suitable for couples.
