Door County, Wisconsin is a special place in it's own right but Ephraim is a quiet village perfect for families that want to experience an authentic Door County vacation. Families can experience a simpler life, couples can reignite the flame, outdoor enthusiasts can hike, bike or kayak, gals that want girl time can shop til they drop, guys that love to boat, fish, and golf can, and for everyone else in between you'll feel at home while staying in your cottage on 3 acres in gorgeous Door County. The space Your cottage is not only the most popular cottage on our property but it has everything you need to relax, unwind, and reconnect with family, friends, and even make new friends. Morning's are delightful while relaxing in the living room or in the screened in porch or grab a cup of Joe (coffee maker and filters provided) and walk two minutes to the Ephraim Beach and watch the sunrise. Chilly nights are cozy while snuggled up next to the fire place (wood box provided) with a good book (books available in the cottage), a great movie, or while playing a board game. Meals cooked outside on the Weber charcoal grill (ask us for charcoal and lighter fluid left behind by other guests) at your cottage is even more delicious when enjoyed out on the picnic table. Your kitchen is fully stocked including a microwave, towels are soft, beds are comfy, and of course your cottage is sparkling clean. Cottage includes two bedrooms with two queen beds, full bath, fully equipped kitchen, large flat screen TV with Spectrum cable, fire place, boosted WiFi, and parking right in front of the cottage. Max 2 cars. No trailers without permission. From your cottage you can enjoy a starry night. Walk two minutes to the Ephraim beach for some sand and a swim. Join the other guests in our surrounding cottages for stories, laughter and s'mores around the fire pit. Guest access You will receive a door code around 12:00 p.m. noon on the day of check-in. Other things to note You will want to bring the following items for your stay: 1. Towels. Bring your own towels or rent towels (bath, kitchen, beach) from the host via the pre-arrival text listing upgrades. Towel rentals are $5/person/set. Beach towels are an extra $5/person. 2. Charcoal and lighter fluid if you enjoy grilling (we may have some left over from guests) 2. Doggie bed, crate, bowls, towels for muddy feet and doggie duty bags. 3. Spices/Salt/Pepper as well as foil, plastic wrap, ziploc bags, and food storage containers. 4. Ice. Bags available for $5/each. 5. Firewood is available for the fireplace for $5/bundle which includes a handful of kindling, newspaper, and a fire starter. To maintain pest control, do not bring wood in from the outside.
