Spacious bedroom in the basement of my home. Additional guests in other rooms may be present during your stay. Quiet hours after 9 pm, please be respectful. Do not send a request to book, message me first! The space You will have a private bedroom, but the living room, bathroom and kitchenette are shared with other Airbnb guests in the basement. THERE WILL BE GUESTS IN THE OTHER AIRBNB ROOM IN THE BASEMENT DURING YOUR STAY. We do have two cats and a dog. But they stay upstairs, keep the door closed if you are here and they will not bother you. Bedroom -- Queen bed and twin futon. We provide bedding, pillows in varying stiffness for optimum comfort, and fresh linens. The bedroom has hangers and a closet to store your belongings during your stay. The futon is available for a third guest to sleep on but it is not super comfy. Living Room & Dining Area -- To help you relax after a long day of exploring, the cozy living room boasts a television with HDMI hookup to your devices, chrome cast and local channels, as well as games, for the whole family. Kitchenette -- We provide a fully loaded kitchenette with everything you will need to cook meals during your stay. We will have tea, instant coffee, cream, hot cocoa & sugar available. The kitchenette is also loaded up with pots, pans, bowls, plates, utensils, fridge/freezer, electric cooktop, microwave, blender, toaster and toaster oven. Cleaning supplies are provided for guests to wash their own dishes. Kitchenette is without a sink but the bathroom has a double sink, and there is an extra bucket with a spray hose that attaches to the sink faucet to use to wash Dining -- The dining area has a large dining set for your family meals along with two additional seats in the kitchenette. Bathroom -- This basement has one bathroom that includes a walk in shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. We also provide cotton swabs, makeup towels, lotion and extra rolls of toilet paper. We leave at least one bath towel and one wash cloth per guest, plus a few extras under the bathroom sink. Children -- We have a few children's items for your convenience, including games, books & toys. Stratmoor Hills Park with a playground is a five minute walk from the house. -- Airbnb does not count infants as guests, but we must. Please do not attempt to book this room for more than 3 people, total, as our space cannot accommodate more. Laundry -- There is a laundromat close by. We can provide soap and dryer sheets for you upon request but you will not have access to a washer or dryer in our home during your stay. Parking -- There is plenty of parking along the street. The garage and driveway is not available for guest use. Early Check-in/ late check-out fees apply. If you are in need of an early check-in or late check-out time, please notify me in advance to make sure arrangements can be made. 24/7 video and audio recording will occur though a ring doorbell at the front door of the property. It will be on during the entire stay and record video and audio from the front door outside. This is the only camera on the property. Guest access Myself and guests come in through the front door, you go downstairs and I go upstairs. It is a split level house, so you will see the stairs right away. Guests can only access the basement, we only come down for laundry. No guests are welcome upstairs, we will respect your space and ask you to respect ours. During your stay I am always available by messages on the airbnb website/app! Other things to note PETS -- We do not allow pets. Damage from pets will result in loss of deposit. We do have a dog and cats but they stay upstairs with us. Just the dog will greet you at the front door sometimes. NO Smoking/Vaping Inside OR outside -- Smoking anything (tobacco, marijuana, vaping) inside or outside the home is NOT PERMITTED - loss of security deposit will occur. We ask that if you smoke at all, please do not book with us. Quiet hours -- Please be quiet after 9 pm, we will not tolerate loud and rude guests. We are all adults and have jobs, please be respectful. We are very quiet and do not smoke or drink and we appreciate that you respect that. Please look at all the pictures in this listing.
