All touch points, surfaces, kitchenware and linens, including upholstery, are being disinfected and sanitized on a routine basis. Our guests' health and safety are our top priority. The home is a turn of the century Tudor built in 1895. It has been well loved and many of the original features and older upgrades have been preserved. The space has been outfitted in a way that honors the history of the home and will hopefully provide you with the most comfortable stay possible. Newly refinished hardwood floors and period built-ins are complimented by a thoughtful combination of new and antique furniture and décor. Our hope is for you to feel the love that has been put into this home over the last 120 years, and may you have happy memories of your stay here for many years to come. Living Room You will immediately feel right at home in the spacious, yet cozy living room. There is a large velvet sofa with chaise lounge that converts to a king size sleeper, coffee table, and side tables. The large window faces west and has a view of Pikes Peak. Retro caged string lights provide a relaxing ambiance and a bit of extra light. There is a 55-inch Roku TV so you can login to your accounts on apps like Hulu and Netflix. There is an essential oil diffuser and provide some oils to try. There is a sitting area and also a chess table and chairs if you fancy a match. There are several other board games for you to use as well. Kitchen The kitchen is efficient but powerful and should have everything you need to make some delicious meals (or just coffee!) during your stay. It has custom wood cabinetry and butcherblock countertops. There is a fridge, gas range and oven, microwave, toaster, blender, mixer, popcorn maker and a waffle-maker. There is glassware, dishware, silverware, and coffee mugs. There are pots, pans, bowls, knives, strainers, a cutting board, utensils, a masher, measuring cups, measuring spoons, can opener, bottle opener, wine opener, and a kettle. We also provide salt and pepper. There is a Keurig coffee maker on the counter, and we provide k-cups, cream (in the fridge), sugar, sugar free sweetener, and tea. There is also a French press and we provide some ground coffee. We leave some bottled water and even a selection of Colorado-made sodas so you can sip and savor some homegrown flavor during your stay. Bedroom The bedroom has a brand new, super comfy queen mattress, high quality bedding, plenty of pillows and we provide fresh linens for your comfort. There are 2 side tables, a lamp, a small fan and a charging station. There is a dresser with a Roku TV so you can curl up in bed while streaming your favorite movie or show. The closet has some built-in shelving, a luggage rack and plenty of hangers. It also has an iron, ironing board, and a space heater. There is an Aerobed air mattress with automatic pump and we provide clean sheets, pillows, and blankets. Bathroom The bathroom is bright and clean and has a large stand-up shower with a handheld showerhead and subway tile surround. We provide fresh towels, washcloths, hand towels, and makeup cloths as well as spa quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. We also provide cotton balls, cotton swabs, and a few extra rolls of toilet paper. There is a hair dryer, first aid kit, plunger and a toilet brush. Laundry There is a shared laundry room with 2 commercial dryers and 2 commercial washers and we provide a few complimentary laundry pods. Children We have numerous items for your little ones to help you save space when packing. There are kids’ plates, cups and silverware. We have a pack n play, collapsible high chair, play yard, baby bath and baby monitors. The toilet has a built-in child seat. Backyard There is a backyard area with patio, grill, natural gas firepit, wood burning chiminea and several chairs. Guest access Guest will have exclusive access to the entire apartment, and their own private fenced in yard with fire pit, hot tub and grill. There is also a community yard that they will have access to if they'd like to strike up a conversation with a fellow traveler. Other things to note PET FRIENDLY: This is a pet-friendly listing for pets who qualify. Please message us before booking to see if your pets qualify. Damage from pets will result in loss of deposit. There is an additional flat fee for bringing a pet to cover the cleaner's time. The cost of the pet clean is collected via Airbnb. If your stay is longer than five days, we collect an additional fee depending on length of your stay once your reservation is confirmed. We are happy to host both you and your pets! ADDITIONAL FEES: We have put so much work into making your stay perfect, and we value the time we have between guests to prepare for future guests. Please note that there are minimal fees for guaranteed early check ins or late check outs to cover the expenses of reworking the schedule or adding an additional cleaner to the schedule to accommodate your request. Please message us ahead of time for pricing. Smoking in accordance with Colorado law is permitted outside on the patio. There is no smoking anything (tobacco, marijuana, vaping) inside the home - loss of security deposit will occur. Other Airbnb on the premises: Guests will have exclusive access to the entire apartment, and their own private fenced in yard with fire pit, hot tub and grill. There is also a community yard with natural gas fire pit that they will have access to if they'd like to strike up a conversation with a fellow traveler. HOT TUB: The hot tub is child locked for safety. We ask that a QR code is scanned and a liability agreement is signed before using. Once it is signed, it will automatically provide you with a code to unlock the hot tub. PETS: This is a pet-friendly listing for pets who qualify.
