Mallard Point Micro Resort - Cabin 1

This private peninsula has been a Northwoods getaway for the past 75 years, formerly as a resort and now as a unique collection of just three cabins. This listing is for Cabin #1, a lofted cabin that sits right along the waterfront. Each cabin has it's own firepit, picnic table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. The 6-person barrel sauna, kayaks, and all other outdoor spaces are shared among all guests. We're just 15 mins. from Downtown, Mt. Itasca, Tioga MTB Trails, and the Chippewa Nat'l Forest. The space Cabin 1 has natural wood finishes, an open living and dining space, and a kitchen and bathroom stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. ⇸ High ceilings with large windows that face south for views of the lake and lots of natural light. ⇸ Kitchen stocked with all the essentials ⇸ Quality king-sized bed in the loft ⇸ Fully winterized with a gas fireplace. ⇸ We allow families of 5 if you have a child in a travel crib. ⇸ Fast WiFi What We Love About It We love the access to the lake, it's so easy to get out paddling, fishing, sailing, snowshoeing, or just take in the views from an Adirondack chair. You can expect to see other guests or our family enjoying the beach, grilling out, or fishing on the dock. You'll also likely see otters, beavers, loons, and eagles just outside your door. Prairie Lake is quiet and has little boat traffic and a picturesque gorge at the southern end. The water is shallow and gradual along our little sand beach for small children to play. Guest access Mallard Point has multiple cabins. It's a like a tiny resort, unless you rent all cabins, outdoor spaces are shared and can expect to other guests during your stay. Other things to note Rental Agreement We require all guests to sign our rental agreement, which will be sent out after making a reservation. You may request it in advance if you prefer. Pet Policy ⇸ Your pet must be included on your reservation. ⇸ Dogs must be leashed outdoors when other guests are around. ⇸ Bring towels for wet paws and fur. ⇸ Clean up after your dog outdoors. ⇸ Do not allow your dog on our neighbors' properties. ⇸ Our pet fee helps us remain pet friendly, however, it does not cover pet damage or excessive cleaning.
