Welcome to our casual semi-self-guided retreat! We offer a combination of Artist Residency & Holistic Retreat - inviting solo traveling WOMEN to practice yoga and experience reiki and sound healing during their stay as a way to support creativity and offer tools and activities for peace of mind. Staying with us means you are interested in being a part of the wellness culture here and interested in taking time for yoga/meditation on your own or with us. Newbies + Seasoned healers welcome! The space This is a humble home of Retreat Hosts Sara + Drew :) You will be staying in the INDIGO ROOM - which has a shared bathroom and is in the North side of the house - offering sunshine in the mornings and quiet during your stay. As our guest, you are welcome and encouraged to relax indoors or outdoors in our gathering spaces : by the fire indoor/outdoor seasonally, relax within the yoga and meditation wellness room, and enjoy a plant based kitchen for shared meals. Included and encouraged in your stay is EARLY BIRD YOGA on weekdays and you are always welcome to all additional group activities happening by here at home. ** Send us a note to find out about what’s happening during the dates you are requesting ** No experience necessary ** all levels welcome - including beginners We invite you to join us on a collaborative quest for "Hospitality & Healing" by participating in a casual retreat experience that is semi-self-led with opportunity to simply relax with and take time out for your self care with accessible practices from yoga and Ayurveda. Be ready to wake up early in a quiet atmosphere and enjoy a peaceful morning with stretching and strengthening movements for your body, and to bring clarity to your mind, and a smile to your spirit. Sara Artist Yogi Hart + Drew Kaboom - A couple of Yogis holding spaces for solo women travelers interested in a casual one-on-one wellness immersion. BEGINNERS ALWAYS WELCOME + SEASONED PRACTITIONERS ENCOURAGED ** We offer casual retreat opportunities to women only but occasionally our common areas and healing rooms are shared with both men and women by appointment for specified group activities and events ** Guest access As a guest with us you are invited to work with us one on one with all of our healing modalities we share. In gratitude for joining us in our humble home - we offer discounted private sessions : Sound Healing, Reiki, Walking Meditation.. and more! There is opportunity to make your own meals, or cook together, or have meals prepared for you! We ask that there is no alcohol in our home. Please respect the plant based food preference in the home. Wifi is in the home when you need to "plug in" And we encourage you to frequent the yoga room and outdoor spaces to simply BE! During your stay As a guest at the iHART home with Sara + Drew - it is not simply a room to stay while you visit the Hudson Valley - you are participating in a casual retreat that works to bring these ideas of retreat into our normal lives. As a guest here - you gifted daily morning yoga at 6 am REQUIRED + opportunity to deepen your awareness or take time to study the philosophies of Yoga and the 5 elements with workshop-style activities you can practice with Sara + Drew , or on your own. There is plenty of time to be left to your own devices - while still keeping in mind the purpose of the Hart house - is to deepen, reflect, and grow oneself... lets come together and motivate one another to be disciplined and flexible to change and grow and be strong as well! we encourage open communication and asking for what you need and being open to new things :) Other things to note Yoga happens in this house :) 6am Weekdays 8am Saturdays 5pm Fridays/Sundays You are expected to participate in am sessions or an agreed upon schedule :) Not to worry all activities are tailored to YOU and your ability and desires for your stay :-) Be ready! ((not scared)) Weather permitting we love to hike and enjoy the Hudson valley and would love to share our favorite local spots with you. We are happy to point you in the right direction or create a wellness experience with walking meditation , reiki, sound healing just for you. We are regular people who simply share what we have and appreciate you taking time to share wit us! We care about our own safety and well-being just as much as yours :) and we have always asked all who join us here whether for just the hour or a month retreat- that you practice proper hygiene, be mindful of masked and unmasked peoples personal space, and be kind at all times :) ————— MORE ABOUT SARA + DREW ::: Sara Artist Yogi Hart has been teaching Yoga + Meditation since 2010 and has been practicing yoga and living in a plant-based lifestyle since 1997. Sara is a strict teacher and a kind host - Hatha Yoga is the main style of yoga presented from all levels of beginner to advanced. Sara also creates fine art photography and mixed media woods sculptures. Drew is an audio professional, sound therapist and shamanic practitioner. Drew is also thankful to be certified in sound healing & reiki services. Together we offer workshops and immersions utilizing the science of sound as a tool to balance mind, body and spirit along with body movement and breath awareness. Our iHart home studio offers options for alternative hospitality for Solo Traveling WOMEN artists and healers. We look forward to helping you!
