Historic Home w/ hot tub- walk to brewery & Saturn

A pet friendly, historic house in the heart of Avondale steps away from attractions including Thirsty Donkey, Avondale Brewery, Saturn, Marble Ring speakeasy, Saw's BBQ, Hot Box, Post Office Pies, Melt, Fancy's on 5th, Rodney Scotts BBQ, Big Spoon creamery, Cookie Dough Magic & Avondale Park. Less than 2 miles to downtown including UAB & the Amtrak station; very short drive from the airport The space Enjoy Avondale from either our historic front porch or in the hammock or hot tub on the back deck. When you're ready to venture out, walk less than 2 blocks to Avondale's finest local restaurants and merchants. Our two pups, Nala and Charlie, are very friendly and happy to share their home. We welcome guests with pets as long as they get along with other dogs. Guest access You'll have a private bedroom with NEW MATTRESS (the Helix Midnight) that was voted as one of the best mattresses in 2019 by multiple websites. Within the room, there is space to hang and fold clothes. Additionally, you will have access to the rest of the house including the washer and dryer, and kitchen. Feel free to watch cable on either the kitchen or living room tv. You will be provided toiletries and fresh towels. You will have your own, private bathroom just outside your door that includes a claw foot tub with shower. This bathroom will be private to you as we have our own bathroom and shower. You are welcome to enjoy both the front porch (including porch swing bed) and the back deck with its amenities including: a hot tub that is regularly maintained, tiki bar, hammock, and outdoor sectional. You will also have a dedicated shelf in an apartment sized refrigerator just outside your room for any beverages or leftovers you may want to bring back. If you would like to have part of your party sleep on the couch, please let us know, so we can ensure you have all the linens you need. During your stay We will be available either in person or by phone throughout your stay. Depending on the day, we may be home intermittently. We've provided you with a guide to establishments you may want to visit within the city. Our pups, Charlie and Nala, will usually be gated in a small area when we're not home, but feel free to let them out. They love being petted! Other things to note Our home is open to you, and we hope you will make yourself comfortable in it.
