The space We love our peaceful location, and we think that you will too! Our condo is an end unit in the Lasata building, which is adjacent to the elegant, new Hotel Effie, the stately Grand Sandestin and Conference Center, and just a 2-minute walk to the vibrant Village of Baytowne Wharf and nearby Marina. Within the resort are 3 public championship golf courses, 11 miles of paved pathways for bicycling or jogging, 14 tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, and a private beach along the Gulf of Mexico reserved for resort owners and their guests. We love walking around in the resort because speed limits are very low to accommodate golf cart and pedestrian traffic. And we have arranged for our guests to have access to a FREE TRAM which will take them to any part of the resort, including the beach, without needing to use their car. Or if you prefer to drive, our condo is just a 5-minute drive to the private beach reserved for resort owners and guests, and also to Grand Boulevard, an upscale shopping/dining area. There is even a great outlet mall with 110 stores within about a 5-minute drive. Our beautiful 740 square foot condominium, 3130 Lasata, has a comfortable living area, modern kitchen, bedroom, full bathroom, and a balcony. It offers all the comforts of home, and lovely water views from every window and the porch. Wait until you see the sunsets! Our condo was recently remodeled and is non-smoking. It sleeps four with a queen size bed in the bedroom plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a private washer/dryer inside the condo, so you can pack light or even clean-up before heading home. And all windows plus the balcony look out across a lightly wooded area to the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay and the skyline beyond. Park your car in protected underground parking beneath our building, just steps from our door. And of course there is free WiFi. The pool area, located next to the Grand Garden which is in front of our Lasata building, is just steps from the condo. Soak up the rays in one of the two lovely pools or relax in the hot tubs. The main pool has been designed as zero entry which is ideal for small children. Take a 1-minute walk from our condo to Grand Sandestin or to the Hotel Effie. Grand Sandestin is the location for our fitness center. Hotel Effie offers upscale hotel amenities such as its lobby bar, dining room, and concierge services. A 2-minute walk from our condo takes you to the Village of Baytowne Wharf, the premier pedestrian community along the Emerald Coast. This vibrant wharf-side village includes charming shops and boutiques, award-winning restaurants and casual eateries, exciting night clubs and bars, and even amusements for the kids like a zipline, trampolines, and an arcade. We love that the village is so nearby, yet we are sheltered from the noise at night by being just a short walk away. Another short walk across a boardwalk from the village brings you to Baytowne Marina, along the shores of the Choctawatchee Bay. Reserve a sunset dinner cruise on the Solaris yacht (offered by Sunquest Cruises), or watch dolphins from the SunVenture catamaran. Rent a jet ski, kayak, or YOLO board … book a private fishing excursion … or have some fun at the marina bar and grill. Grand Boulevard is just a 5-minute drive away. Enjoy upscale shopping at local boutiques and well-known national brand stores. Dine at a range of fine dining or casual restaurants and bars. Or take advantage of the 10-screen movie theater. There are also convenient services like a UPS store and a Publix supermarket, so you can stock our condo’s kitchen. There is an excellent outlet mall just a short drive from the resort, along with the other great activities available along the “Emerald Coast” stretching along the Gulf of Mexico from Fort Walton Beach and Destin to the west, to the famous Route 30A to the east.
