Light-filled Guesthouse Near Duke

Second floor of recently-built garage apartment in a charming, peaceful Durham neighborhood. Twenty minutes to RDU Airport, five minutes to Duke's East Campus and ten minutes to West Campus, we are an easy walk to a range of locally-owned restaurants. Lovely, light-filled apartment has a bedroom, full kitchen and living area, bathroom, private entrance, and patio with seating. Occasionally, we may have first-floor space available at extra cost. Well-behaved pets welcome. See below for fees. The space The apartment has interesting art, antiques, and plants. Outside, you have full access to our professionally landscaped backyard, with a beautiful slate walk, sitting stones, and native plantings. Enjoy breakfast and your Zoom calls on the patio. You must climb a flight of stairs to the apartment. And please note--the bedroom has a double bed. Guest access The garage apartment has a private entrance from within the well-lit, fenced backyard. A full interior flight of stairs leads to the second floor apartment. Other things to note We like to travel with our pets and know that you may as well. For one or two pets, the fee is $35, with another $35 fee for any additional pets. We do have a fenced-in backyard for you to enjoy, but please help your dog stay out of the flowers!:) If your dog needs to stay alone in the apartment, it must be crated. Please be sure to pick up after your dog; we provide poop bags in the apartment closet. Dispose of the bags in the green garbage can to the side of the house.
