Furnishings include a multipurpose workstation / nightstand / bookshelf, desk lamp, blackout curtains, a comfortable full size bed w/Sealy mattress topper, mattress and pillow protectors, a 5-drawer dresser with lamp and mirror, TV, remote ceiling fan w/light, wall art, and a window A/C unit (seasonal). About The Household: My partner and I occupy one bedroom located on the second floor. We love hosting guests from all corners of the world. It is through these hosting experiences we can learn so much from one another; be it via a shared house meal or just hanging around storytelling. In November 2023 we adopted a very sweet and cuddly adult Tonkinese cat named Beemster (named after the cheese!). He’s an indoor cat with fluffy short hair and is oh so friendly and social! Shared living spaces include kitchen, living room, laundry in basement, front porch, rear patio with outdoor furniture, wood burning chimenea, charcoal grill, Big Green Egg BBQ. I mostly keep to myself but am happy to make recommendations or help you out any way I can. I can be more hands on or leave you to do your thing. + Ample street parking nearby + Nice park across the street + Very walkable neighborhood/sidewalks are everywhere + 5 minute walk to fantastic deli/butcher + Quick walk, bike ride, run, drive to downtown Phoenixville Having a car is best. Biking or walking short distance is nice but obviously more time consuming. Nearest train station to access SEPTA or AMTRAK is Paoli Station—a 20 minute drive. Philly is a 50 minute train ride with SEPTA or 25 minutes with AMTRAK. I expect guests to clean up after themselves and to be respectful of the space.
