The bright, comfortable room features a full-size (double) bed with a Sealy mattress topper, blackout shades, two windows, closet and dresser storage, a TV, and a dedicated desk with fast WiFi. A ductless A/C and heat system, and ceiling fan to keep the room comfortable year-round. Guests also have access to the shared kitchen, living room and laundry. The home is in a quiet residential neighborhood, with downtown Phoenixville about a 15-minute walk away. Guest access Guests have access to their private bedroom and dedicated bathroom, plus shared use of the kitchen, living room, laundry, relaxing front porch, and rear patio. The outdoor space includes seating, a large shade umbrella and grill. You’re welcome to cook, do laundry, relax outside, or make yourself at home in the shared spaces. The second floor is private and not accessible to guests. During your stay My partner and I live upstairs, so this is a true home-share experience. We’re friendly, welcoming, and happy to chat or offer local recommendations, but we’re equally happy to give you privacy and let you do your own thing. We enjoy meeting guests from around the world and want you to feel comfortable here without feeling like you need to socialize. Other things to note This is a private room in our home, not a separate apartment or hotel. We ask guests to be respectful of the house and clean up after themselves in shared areas. There is no cleaning fee. For longer stays, guests are expected to occasionally refresh their room and wash their own bed linens. We also have a very friendly indoor cat, Beemster, who may occasionally greet you in the common areas. Downtown Phoenixville is about a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive.
