Welcome to the beautiful Jefferson French Townhouse. Located in the downtown historic district, the townhouse was built in 1860 by one of the co-founders of Jefferson, Daniel Alley. The windows and front doors of the home are original and were imported from France during the New Orleans trade era; the home also features original cypress floors and 14 foot ceilings. The Townhouse is a Texas Historical Marker and in the National Registry of Historic Places. 1 nt stays are available upon request The space There are two king bedrooms, one featuring an en-suite with double vanity, bath and shower. Another full bath is located next to the second king bedroom alongside the west-facing library/parlor. A bright and spacious east-facing formal living room with a queen pullout sofa bed for extra sleeping space is located at the front of the home. A crib and toddler bed can also be provided in this room for families with small children. A grand entryway and large formal dining room greet you upon your arrival at the front door. At the back of the home is an open-floor plan kitchen, dining, and living space, perfect for entertaining. The kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, bar seating, a breakfast nook, and everything you would need to cook a meal for family and friends. Parking: covered carport and a driveway provide plenty of off-street parking. Large corner lot with plenty of green space. Covered front and back porches and large patio with outdoor seating and grill provided. Guests have full access to the outdoor spaces. Large pecan trees and magnolias are featured around the grounds, as well as lilies and azaleas.
