YoBergerVilla - Large Lake House

From kayaking on the lake to sitting around an outdoor firepit surrounded by swings for cozy summer nights, it's the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. You have the freedom to craft your own blend of leisure and enjoyment within these restful surroundings. The space PETS: The settings in AirBnB only allow for a "yes" or "no" for pets. We LOVE our dog. We know you LOVE your dog. We are just quite particular about the abundance of hair and damage our furry loved ones can create and be loveable afterward! If you want us to consider bringing your dog, PLEASE ASK. We have not wanted to set a Pet Fee, but we will discuss with you the need to leave the house with no indication that a dog was ever present. That means picking up in the yard, vacuuming, being responsible for items that are damaged or cannot be cleaned (it is difficult to get all dog hair out of blankets and other linens and off of chairs). We do not want a Pet Deposit simply because our cleaner already cleans a very large house and has no time for the extra work that cleaning up after a dog requires. If you are prepared for what is involved with your responsibility for bringing your dog, please ask us to consider it! (No cats) Other things to note We are Randy and Cathy Berger. Randy is an engineer and Cathy is a math teacher. We are both northern transplants, having grown up in NY and NJ originally. We met and married in Charlottesville, VA. We raised our children first in Charlottesville and then in Cary, NC where we currently reside. Our five children are grown - and they even took the dog! We've managed properties for many years but this is our first (and only) vacation rental home. We love having a hospitality business and are responsive to communications. We come to YoBergerVilla about once a month to check on the house and property. We enjoy fixing what needs to be fixed as well as adding to and updating the property We are continually working on the impressively big and impressively vine-filled yard. We have thoughts and dreams for these spaces, but they are coming slowly. We desire for YoBergerVilla to be a place where memories are created and comfort is found. Our goals are for our guests to feel at home.
