You can spend the summer hiking in Mt. Kineo State Park across the lake, teeing off at the nine-hole Kineo Golf Course, and fishing, kayaking, and boating on the water. Come winter, this area is fantastic for ice fishing as well. The heart of Rockwood is just one mile east, where you'll find a restaurant, boat rentals, and the marina.
