Leave all the cares of the world behind and come join us for a stay in our little french country cottage. Its a bit of a fairytale come true. Enjoy the slow, deliberate pace of life the french embrace. With an artful balance between earthy and chic, French country infuses our cottage with incomparable warmth and welcome. This place is like a tiny home with a lot of character and the climate in Vista is wonderful. The space This french cottage is a one of a kind getaway nestled in the hills of Vista with beautiful views. Only 12 miles to the beach! Escape to the country here with a comfortable and homey mix of French and farmhouse. The French have been known to embrace a slower pace of life. Sit on the patio and enjoy nature with the chickens nearby. Surrounded by nature and wildlife but minutes to freeway and shopping. It’s a great place for a romantic getaway for two. Please note we do not allow visitors to the property. No exceptions. Electric fireplace for heat or just a cozy flame. Kitchen with farm sink refrigerator and stove with oven. Pots pans dishes etc. Drip, Keurig single pod and French press coffee makers with an assortment of coffees Bathroom with shower Comfy queen bed with a hotel quality mattress topper. Room darkening shades in bedroom. Light and airy inside with lots of windows. In our wee little cottage on the side of a hill where eucalyptus trees sway and then be still The tiny hummingbird flutters her wings in an emerald green coat spreading beauty and hope wherever she goes Hens in the distance joyfully chatting away laying eggs and making music during the day The bumble bees dance in the early sun contentment can be found here your peace has begun Guest access When you arrive at the main house pull down into the driveway by the gazebo and call us, we will direct you to the cottage. Bluebird cottage is a stand alone guest house on our property. Enjoy the whole space. You will have your own yard with a patio and deck to enjoy. Hiking trails are easily accessible by walking thru the property to the trails. If you veer off to the left of the property you will be able to climb a trail to view the ocean. You will also be able to watch the chickens with their funny antics thru your windows. Two guest max No visitors One car per booking Other things to note We are on water restrictions so please watch your water usage. Short showers please the water heater is 30 gallons Maximum of 2 registered guests only. Please do not ask to have friends or family visit. No visitors No parties, drugs, loud music. No children under 18 Beware of dogs they are tiny but one is very scared of strangers, they are kept in the chicken yard away from the guest yard.
