Modern Cayuga Lake House in Ithaca Kayak Fireplace

Clean, quiet, well-maintained , modern, comfortable house directly on Cayuga Lake but only minutes from downtown Ithaca, Finger Lakes wineries, Cornell, Ithaca College and gorge hikes. Our house has spectacular lake views, a modern floor plan and beautiful construction and details. New gas fireplace added in 2025. Pet Friendly, Kayaks, Canoe provided. There is an easy path with stairs from the lower parking to the house. See pictures of the steps to the lake. The space Reasons to rent this house: 1) Its directly on Cayuga Lake with amazing views from the new beautiful. deck and dock, near wineries, and also only 5 minutes from downtown Ithaca restaurants and shopping, and less than 15 min. from the colleges. 2) There is a series of steps to the lake but unless it is winter, you can drive relatively close to the front door. Note: In winter, parking is by the main road, not the house. Winter tenants will likely have to walk 52 steps from the upper parking but we have a brand new well built staircase (see pictures). 3) The house itself is beautiful. Sliding glass doors from the livingroom showcase the lake and deck. The living room also features stunning wood floors and stone fireplace. There are 2.5 bathrooms, all with beautiful glass tiles in the showers. 4) Two kayaks on the property, a canoe, and a private dock. Life jackets are provided. 5) The house is big enough for two families to share. We have 3 bedrooms and a bonus room (with sleeper sofa), plus a sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress in the living room. 6) House is professionally cleaned between tenants. 7) For young children we have a pack-n-play, a high chair, a baby bath, and a variety of books, toys, and games. 8) The house is powered by contract with solar engery. Who Can Rent: It is a quiet area and is not appropriate for loud/late night parties. No additional guests or visitors are allowed on the property without express written permission from the houses in the agreement. Please review the pictures for a full understanding of the steps required to get to the house from the upper and lower parking areas and to access the waterfront. Summer rental is Sat-Sat, 7 nights only Winter Guests: We deliver property with shoveled steps. Thereafter tenants are responsible for snow removal. Guests may not be able to access the lower parking area, so all tenants must be able bodied and able to walk stairs easily. Wifi is upgraded to Spectrum Ultra which has download speed of 400 Mbps and upload speed of 20 Mbps. Please note: All adult tenants in the group will be required to sign a separate written license agreement. Guest access Cayuga Lake, Private Decks, Private Dock, Parking for 2 cars in winter and 4-5 cars in summer. Other things to note We have been renting since 2001. House is professionally cleaned between tenants. ALL adult guests must sign a separate license agreement (even for short stays) that you will be emailed separately. additional guests are not allowed on the property without express written permission. loud outdoor music is not allowed. $30 pet fee (total) used towards annual professional carpet cleaning.
