Renovated, modern, comfortable house directly on Cayuga Lake but only minutes from downtown Ithaca, Finger Lakes wineries, Cornell, Ithaca College and gorge hikes. There is an easy path with 21 stairs from the lower parking to the house. The upper parking is accessed with a brand new staircase with 52 steps. The water is 63 steps from the upstairs area. Reasons to rent this house: 1) Its directly on Cayuga Lake with amazing views from the deck and dock, near wineries, and also only 5 minutes from downtown Ithaca restaurants and shopping, and less than 15 min. from the colleges. 2) This house uses eco-friendly electricity powered by Solar Farms New York. 3) There are many steps to the lake but unless it is winter, you can drive relatively close to the front door (21 step path). In winter, parking is by the main road, not the house. Access is via brand new staircase with 52 steps. 4) There are 2.5 bathrooms, all with new glass tiles and beautiful details. 5) Two kayaks on the property, a canoe, private dock. 6) The house is big enough for two families to share. We have 3 bedrooms and a bonus room (with sleeper sofa), plus a sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress in the living room. 7) House is professionally cleaned between tenants. Who Can Rent: House is available to one or two families but no more than 2 sets of unrelated persons (one family, two families, 2 friends, one couple, etc). It is a quiet area and is not appropriate for loud/late night parties. No additional guests or visitors are allowed on the property without express written permission from the houses in the agreement. Please review the pictures for a full understanding of the steps required to get to the house from the upper and lower parking areas and to access the waterfront. Summer rental is Sat-Sat, 7 nights only Winter Guests: We deliver property with shoveled steps. Thereafter tenants are responsible for snow removal. Guests may not be able to access the lower parking area, so all tenants must be able bodied and able to walk stairs easily. Wifi is upgraded to Spectrum Ultra which has download speed of 400 Mbps and upload speed of 20 Mbps.
