The Twig in Poetry

The Twig is located in Poetry, Texas on 10 wooded acres. 3 blinds for bird/wildlife viewing. Trails for wandering. 1/4 acre pond. Bring a book and enjoy the big covered porch, firepit and views. 2 adult max. 21 yoa minimum. No children. No pets. The space The property boasts a pond, trees, trails, deer, lots of birds, and other regional wildlife. The guesthouse has a kitchenette equipped with a coffee maker, electric kettle, bullet blender, fridge/freezer, microwave. We also provide a small outdoor propane grill and firepit. The hosts live on the property and can help you with whatever you might need. The Twig is the only rental on the property and while not totally secluded, privacy is respected. Guest access Walk the trails. Hang out on the pier. Enjoy your front yard and firepit. Play on the swing set if you want! Other things to note We are within a few miles of several wedding venues in the area. Dallas, McKinney and Canton are each about one hour away. We are about 20 minutes from Rockwall, Terrell and Quinlan. You might consider shopping for groceries prior to arrival. We do require the names of both occupants upon reservation. Maximum occupancy 2 adults with no occupant under age 21. No children. No pets. No visitors. No smoking/vaping/fireworks on the property. At this time, maximum stay allowed is 3 days.
