Hear soothing sounds of the ocean and flowing waters at the confluence of two nearby creeks. Stay toasty warm year-round in this wood heated off-grid cabin with private creek access. Ideal when seeking basic rustic comfort and connection to the cycles of nature without distraction. Enjoy sunsets at Ruby Beach, 3 miles away (south of Forks, Wa). No electricity or running water. The space **Bring light and water** String lights and gas for camp stove are provided. Extra blankets for rent at Camp Host shed nearby, $5/blanket, self-serve. Firewood is: On site, 10 pieces for $5. Pick up at Camp Host Woodshed, shortly before your cabin. Cash only. Ven:mo is double price. **Price may differ in summer--depending on wood availability **Summertime (June-Sept) there is a county wide burn ban in effect. No fires. Bed is: 1 double mattress (54”x75”) "Half-bath" is: Outhouse nearby (30 second trail walk) Kitchen includes: +2 burner camp stove (fuel provided) +Pot/pan/paper plates/bowls/silverware +French press for coffee (bring coffee) +Hot cocoa +Oil+seasonings +Cooler The nature of a camping cabin—possible mice, spiders, etc. —Backyard w/ outdoor fire pit --Extra sleeping bag+pillows at cabin —Wood stove (large authentic Fisher) —Covered patio (8'x8') --Steep "roots and rope" trail down to private creek access •••We built these cabins using on-site and sustainable practices. We believe in repurposing and/or using primitive materials to create a cleaner end goal••• Challenge mind and body on a rope-swing. Feel your bare feet grip the Earth with a hand gathered loose cobble floor. Get connected. Cabin is on the edge of the 6 private acres to be road accessible. —Arrive in daylight. Campsite:no lock/key needed. Helpful to read + download ahead the directions sent the morning before. This land is down a side road that has no physical address. Do not follow gps** Nearest town is 45 minutes: Forks, Wa. Nearest basic convenience store is 25 minutes: Kalaloch Mercantile. Nearest gas station is 30 minutes: Queets Trading Post Other things to note Rain gear + boots are handy (exploring creek trail + tide pooling). Slippers—for rock floor if need be.
