Beautiful Truckee (Sierra Meadows) mountain home

Beautiful, warm mountain house in the quiet but central Truckee neighborhood of Sierra Meadows. Perfect during winter or summer, just 1.5 miles to old town Truckee and not far from Lake Tahoe. And a fantastic location for skiers, less than 10 minutes to Northstar and around 20-25 minutes to Palisades Tahoe, Sugar Bowl and Boreal. The space Welcome to my home. You'll have the entire house to yourselves. Normally this is my full-time residence, but during certain periods I am away so the entire home is available. While there are only a few reviews shown, there are over 75 reviews from guests staying in the upstairs bedrooms the past five years. Click on my profile to read those guest reviews. The house is only available for rental periods of more than 30 days. If interested for any set of dates available on the calendar, just contact me. There are 3 levels to the home: On the main level is a fully-equipped kitchen with counter seating, dining table, living room with big-screen OLED TV (streaming Netflix, Max, Peacock, and various sports and other apps), and access to front and back decks w/ propane BBQ. A queen bedroom plus a full bathroom is also on this level. Upstairs includes two more bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds, perfect for kids or friends), another full bathroom, and a work space. Downstairs is a separately heated bonus room with a futon, a sofa and a massage chair, plus an additional big screen TV. At a pinch, you could even squeeze another kid (or two?) down there with air/camping mattresses that I can provide or you can bring yourselves. The garage can be accessed from the downstairs bonus room. It includes a washer/dryer available for your use, and you are welcome to store things out of the cold such as ski equipment. Talk with me about the possibility to park one car (if it's not too long!) in the garage. And outside there is lots of space for parking in the driveway. There is driveway plow service in the winter. For large storms you may need to shovel areas the plow cannot reach such as a short front walkway and a small uncovered bit of the front deck, but this should be quite limited. Shovels are in the garage. Since more folks rely on internet during their travels, I'll mention that my internet service is very reliable, and I just switched to the new fiber optic provider in December 2023. So there are zero issues with streaming, zoom calls, etc. Guest access You will be able to access the entire house - every room, closet, cabinet and drawer. Make yourselves at home! Other things to note There is no Occupancy tax for stays of more than 30 days.
