Our completely remodeled cabin is located in “Old Ruidoso”. It’s walking distance to Midtown and a short drive to Grindstone Lake, Ski Apache and Ruidoso Downs Race Track. We have a cozy outdoor fire pit with seating areas and a grill on our back deck plus a 2 person hammock in the back yard. Our front deck has a 2 person porch swing where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. As frequent Airbnb guests we feel we have provided a great place for you to stay. House: We look forward to sharing our cabin, The Treehouse with you. We purchased and renovated this cabin as a full time vacation rental and for a place for my husband and I to stay when we visit our daughter and her family. We have been coming to Ruidoso several times a year since they moved here. We love the beauty of the mountains and wildlife and look forward to sharing that with you. Outside: We have 2 seating areas outside, 1 on the front deck and another on the back deck in addition to a gas fire pit and a grill. (The fire pit is unavailable during high fire season). We also have a hammock in the back yard. Parking: There are 2 parking spots in the driveway. Sleeping Areas: The house sleeps up to 4 people, a queen bed in the bedroom, a sleeper couch (for 1 adult or 2 children. In addition we have a twin airbed upon request. We also have a pack n play upon request. There is a small 4 drawer dresser and a closet with plenty of hangers to store your belongings. In addition to the heater in the living room there are 2 space heaters for the bedroom and the bathroom for the cooler months. For the warmer months we have an air conditioner in the living room and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. We provide all pillows and bed linens. Bathroom: We have a full sized bathroom with a bathtub and shower. We provide towels, soap, lotion and toilet paper plus a blow dryer, iron, ironing board and luggage rack located in the closet which is also in the bathroom. Living room: Sink into our comfy couch or chair while watching tv or reading a book. We provide a phone charging station on the side table next to the couch. If you like games we have cards, Jenga, Uno and Sorry which you can find in the trunk by the back door. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook if you choose. You have the choice of making coffee in the Coffee pot or using our Keurig. We provide keurig pods in addition to coffee beans that you can grind in the provided grinder. We also have a high chair on request if needed in addition to children’s dishes, cups and utensils. Entertainment: We have wifi and a Smart TV where you can access movies and shows on the various apps by signing into your accounts. There are also plenty of free channels. In addition to the tv we also have some board games and cards. You will have the cabin and yard all to yourself. Even though we don’t live in Ruidoso, our daughter and son-in-law live less than 5 min away and will be available if needed. Our cabin is located in Old Ruidoso and is walking distance to Mid-Town. Don’t be surprised to see deer and elk walking by and even looking for something to eat in the front yard. The neighbors are friendly and helpful if needed.
