Elkin Dollhouse in Yadkin Wine Country

The house is adjacent to our primary residence. A previous owner used the home for a doll collection, with some sold to the Smithsonian. The home is walking distance to quaint downtown Elkin, where there are wineries, a brewery, restaurants, and Oct. 2017 the Reeves theater opens as a music venue. Kayaking, canoeing, hiking Stone Mountain, Elkin Valley Mountain to the Sea Trail, antique shopping. Elkin valley has the same viticulture stamp as the NAPA Valley!! Cycling trails nearby. The space 2000 sq ft home. Two bedroom, two bath with two separate sitting rooms. The home was built in 1942 and has an antique feel. Hotel quality linens. There is a small kitchenette equipped with all you need to make a healthy meal while traveling. There is small stove, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig with K cups, dishes for 6, pots/pans, and a full size refrigerator. Reading room by the fire is great for quiet nights, and a separate family room with Roku, Amazon prime and Spotify. Secure garage for storing bicycles and motorcycles. Guest access You have the guest house to yourself. Door is locked with a keypad. There is a sunny yard in the center of the circle drive that is wonderful for sitting. Other things to note Do not park in the curve of the home. We use the garage. Please park along the white fence to the right of the garage under the home. There is one additional parking spot just past the home. Pull off the pavement onto the gravel so other cars can get by. Parking is available in front of the house as long as the Mail truck can pass by.
