Little Blue Cottage on Birch Lake

My sister and I own this sweet little cottage right on beautiful Birch Lake in the northern part of the Lower Peninsula. Great for couples, families, and groups! Shallow, sandy lake, beautiful sunsets, fire pit for roasting marshmallows, paddleboat, kayaks, paddleboards, board games, grill... all the ingredients for a perfect summer getaway! Just a 5-minute drive to the town of Elk Rapids and its restaurants, shops, and Lake Michigan beach. We love it here, and we think you will, too! The space The cottage has three bedrooms (one with a queen size bed, one with a bunk bed that's a full on the bottom and a twin on top, and one with two sets of twin bunk beds), a living room, a full size kitchen, one bathroom with shower, one small bathroom that doubles as the laundry/utility room, and a dining room. We also have a large couch in the living room for additional sleeping space. Beautiful Birch Lake is right out the back door! Sandy-bottomed and shallow for quite a ways out, the lake is ideal for family fun, especially with the paddleboards, kayaks, paddleboat, inflatable floaties, and pool noodles that are there for you to use. There is also a fire pit in the yard, so s'mores and campfire tales are encouraged! Guest access You will have the entire cottage and our waterfront all to yourself.
