The downstairs great room is a kid-friendly area for games or lounging on the sectional sofa and watching movies. The floor plan separates the kitchen from most bedrooms, ensuring quiet for early risers and sleepers. The mansion sleeps up to 20 guests with 5 private bedrooms/bathrooms (3 king beds, 2 queen beds) and a kids’ bunk room with bathroom downstairs (2 bunk beds with queen top and bottom, 1 futon bunk bed with twin on top). Need more space? Rent an additional area for 6-8 guests connected to the downstairs great room. This includes 2 private bedrooms (queen beds) and a living room area (2 futons). Summer months are ideal for boating, kayaking, and fishing. Bring your boat or rent our pontoon for a daily fee. Enjoy the large backyard for games and peaceful evenings around the campfire. Kayaks are complimentary for guest use and shared with our other Airbnb property. We just ask that they’re returned after use so everyone can enjoy them. In winter, the mansion offers a cozy escape with fireplaces, ice fishing, snowshoeing, sledding, and snowmobiling. There is a 7-night minimum stay during summer months and a 4-night minimum stay during other months. Enjoy a 10% discount for weekly stays during fall, winter, and spring! Guest access You will be provided a key code through email prior to checking in. Staff laundry/supply room and other utility rooms will be locked. No parking in garage or on yard allowed. Garage will only be used for yard games, kayaks, and campfire chairs. Other things to note Tainter Lake is approximately a 1605 acre lake located in Dunn county. It has a maximum depth of about 37 feet. Depending on the weather in the summer months, the water clarity can be low due to algae growth. Later in the summer months this lake tends to get a bit green. May until early July are the best months to enjoy swimming. Still a great size lake for boating, kayak and fishing! We have a 22-foot Misty Harbor pontoon available for rent. (includes 15 gallons of fuel and life jackets provided for 10 adults) Credit card on file in case of damages for deposit, $200 per day (2 day minimum) Experienced boaters ONLY!
