Sage Lodge A-frame Cabin

Sage Lodge is a 70s A-Frame cabin in the woods. Look out at the majestic pine trees, or start a fire in the stone-covered fireplace. Need to unwind after a day of hiking or skiing? Get cozy and watch movies on our retro TV or settle in by the fire with one of our puzzles or games. Got food? Prepare your favorite meals in the kitchen stocked with all of the essentials. Close to the slopes, shopping, the lake, hiking and restaurants. Check out is 11am. Check in is 3pm-6pm. The space Cozy A-frame cabin! Kitchen is stocked with all of the essentials - gas-burning stove, microwave, pots, pans, french press... and a fondue pot! Coffee, tea & hot chocolate is provided. If you'd like to stay in, we have a retro TV and dozens of VHS tapes, an eclectic assortment of games & puzzles, as well as many books & vintage magazines. This cabin is the perfect place to unwind and unplug - there is a record player upstairs, as well as a workspace for making art and writing. If you are looking for an outdoor adventure, we are 30 minutes away from Big Bear and just a few miles away from Snow Valley Mountain Resort and Lake Arrowhead. Guest access Entire A-frame home. Utility closet in the back not available, for housekeepers only. Other things to note Please note that we do not have central air conditioning at the cabin and our summer prices have been lowered accordingly. We do have a new AC unit for the loft (as of July 2024!) and have several fans and screens on all of our windows and doors to allow for a nice mountain breeze. It shouldn’t get too hot for the most part, but this is something to consider if you are sensitive to the heat/used to having AC! The upstairs loft area does get quite warm in the summer months, but hoping the new AC unit up there will make a difference. Please keep this in mind when booking during the summer months!!
