Walk out & relax on the large expansive deck and enjoy the fresh mountain air and amazing starry night skies! The space Great for families! Quiet neighborhood that is Super close to Snow Summit and Bear Mountain, village, Vons/stores, Starbucks, hiking trails, lake, boat launches, village, mountain biking and off roading, airport and all the wonderful things Big Bear has to offer! Very convenient location to all! Enjoy the beautiful mountain and pine tree views all year long! Even get a peak view of the slopes from the deck, or full view from the parking pad. We hope you enjoy our vacation home! We hope you will find it comfortable and well appointed! The house backs up to the National Forest, so amazing hiking trails are just a few hundred feet away. You can even explore real old gold mines on your hike. The home is very close to everything that Big Bear has to offer! Only minutes to the slopes, snowplay, scenic sky chair, lake, boating, village, shops, bike trails, hiking and so much more! You can also sled in the down sloped backyard in the winter when it snows! Enjoy the wildlife, especially the chipmunks, rabbits, and beautiful birds on the front yard hill while sitting in the kitchen or dining area. The bright blue birds called Steller's Jays are our personal favorite! BBQ on the front patio and enjoy the soft sounds of our peaceful and quiet neighborhood. On colder nights, be sure to light a warm fire in the pellet stove in the living room, while snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie on the flat screen HD TV with cable. (Pellets are provided for your convenience.) Wake up in the master bedroom to gorgeous mornings with the mountain and pine tree views from the King bed. Step outside and relax on the large deck and enjoy the fresh mountain air and views during the day, and bright starry skies at night. The down-slope back yard is lots of fun! You'll likely see the quarter-pipe type of small hill that has been dug out at the bottom of the down slope back yard for sledding and snowboarding fun. Enjoy! The number one rule to remember is being a vacation home renter also means being a good neighbor. PARKING All short-term renters must park on the rental property. No street parking is allowed. The number of approved spaces for your rental can be found on the information posted inside the unit. (2 Cars max for our property. All other cars would need to park in a public lot.) NOISE We know you have good taste in music, but your neighbors might not. So turn down the volume and keep all noise to a minimum. Guests are advised to adhere to quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. PETS No pets are allowed at our property due to family allergies. TRASH Please place all trash in approved containers. Ensure containers are closed to keep animals out. Do not place trash bags or other uncontained trash anywhere on the property. (There is wildlife in the mountains and they will find your trash). OCCUPANCY Exceeding the occupancy limit could result in expulsion from the rental, fines, or both. The approved number of people allowed in the unit can be found on the information posted inside the unit. (Our property is a maximum of 8 guests.) PROHIBITED USES Short-term rentals may not be used for commercial purposes, such as filming, corporate retreats, conferences, or wedding receptions. COMPLAINTS The County operates a 24-hour hotline where residents can report short-term rental violations. All complaints are investigated and can result in a $1,000 or more citation. REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN You should receive a complete copy of the rental unit rules and regulations from the owner as well as information about penalties for violations. If you do not, please request this information. Review it closely to ensure you understand your responsibilities while renting the property. (Our rules are all set here in airbnb.
