Ideal for family gatherings or school visits, it sleeps up to 14 and features fast internet, AC and WiFi in every room, laundry, and access to four grocery stores—two with delivery. Bantam Lake is 10 minutes away for swimming, and local restaurants offer plenty of takeout and delivery options for an easy, comfortable stay. The space Welcome to Judd Farm — Where Comfort Meets Country Style This spacious, beautifully appointed home is perfect for large families, work retreats, or group getaways. Nestled on 33 peaceful acres, it offers total privacy with the convenience of being just 10 minutes from town—where shopping, restaurants, and delivery services are readily available. Inside, the layout is ideal for groups of up to 14 (or more with prior approval). There are 4 generously sized bedrooms upstairs, plus a cozy library with two full beds, a family room with a fireplace, and a separate living room featuring a piano and a sleeper sofa. Everyone can spread out without ever feeling crowded. Judd Farm was completely redecorated in December 2017 and continues to evolve with thoughtful updates. One major upgrade: a professional-grade, enterprise-level WiFi network featuring Ubiquiti 802.11AC Pro access points and 200 Mbps internet. Whether you’re streaming, video conferencing, or working remotely, you’ll have rock-solid connectivity in every room—no compromises. We’ve also added a bright, open banquet-style space in the converted garage that can accommodate up to 30 guests for dinners, meetings, or celebrations (with prior approval and in accordance with local rules). The dining room, decorated in relaxed French country style, comfortably seats six, with extra folding chairs available in the porch closet. The buffet is stocked with serving platters, linens, silver flatware, and more. A gas grill, banquet tables, and additional chairs are stored in the garage and ready for use. The family room invites you to relax with two plush sofas, a raised-hearth fireplace, and a 42” HDTV offering Amazon, Netflix, and HBO. Firewood is provided—but if you’re not familiar with fireplace use, please ask for help to avoid any safety issues. Drapes in the family room and porch can be drawn at night to retain heat and conserve energy—thank you for helping us keep things sustainable. For easiest access, enter through the garage (left side), especially during snowy or wet weather. The garage key opens that side, while the second key unlocks the porch door. Please note, there’s no walkway yet to the porch entrance. Guest access The house features two spacious rooms perfect for gathering and relaxing. The library comfortably sleeps four with two full-size beds, and there’s extra space if you need to add an air mattress. Set on 33 acres, the property offers plenty of room to roam, and an unimproved road along Route 132 makes a great spot for walking or biking. Please note that the basement is not accessible, as it’s used for storing personal items. Other things to note Upstairs, there are five window air conditioners to keep things cool, but if they’re all running at once and you add something like a hair dryer on the same circuit, it can trip a fuse. Downstairs, the dining room has a large window unit that cools the entire main floor effectively.
