The space Our 3300 sq. ft. chalet provides the perfect mountain getaway. A 5/3, with 4 bedrooms for adults, and a fun kids room with 3 single beds that are part of tents on the floor. We have created a comfortable, clean and relaxing retreat that's truly special and less than half a mile from downtown Clayton. Our chalet is only 15-minutes from Tallulah Gorge and 3-minutes from historic downtown Clayton, GA where you'll find incredible restaurants, art galleries, antiques, wine tasting rooms and one of the vastest and most eclectic Ace Hardware’s I've ever seen. For the adventure seeker, there's hiking, rafting, tubing, zip lining, biking and even skiing (some parts of the year) all nearby. There's also two beautiful lakes, Lake Rabun and Lake Burton, very close by. The chalet sits at the top of the mountain alongside 5 acres of thick forest. Take your time and soak in all that the property has to offer: Multiple sitting areas both inside and out, fully stocked kitchen, large stainless steel grill, indoor stone fireplace, a large fire pit area alongside the massive deck with a covered pavilion, private tennis court and gravel walking trails. The three-story home boasts a spacious living room with vaulted ceilings, complete with a record player, large stone gas fireplace with remote and an oversized chesterfield sofa. A dining table set for 8 sits alongside the fully stocked kitchen. Purposeful literature and cookbooks are placed throughout the chalet to help inspire all of our guest. No matter the season, you'll be comfortable with central heat and air and floor heaters in most rooms. We're a family with baby triplets, so we have removable baby gates tucked away in a closet should anyone need them. Guest access While this is technically an Airbnb, we don’t consider this a rental property. We occasionally rent our chalet to help cover our expenses, but we consider this our home and we hope our guests make themselves at home and enjoy it as much as we do. We do not allow parties or special events on the property.
