************************************************************************************** Our historic farm was built in 1882. The farmhouse has retained its historic beauty and provides a warm and comfortable stay for business or leisure travel. The space Both bedrooms are upstairs and each has a queen size bed, foam mattress, quality linens, sitting area, table and chairs, coffee maker with K-cups, mini-frig, ceiling fans, wi-fi. Rate is for your choice of 1 bedroom with private access to your bathroom. Upstairs landing has a small reading area with many choices of books. The bathroom is large and private with tub, shower, toilet and double vanity. The parlor downstairs is reserved for you during your stay and has a fireplace, sofa and dining for two. At check-in, we a welcome appetizer tray where you can enjoy in the parlor downstairs or upstairs in your room. Except for the parlor, and the foyer, the rest of the downstairs is used by the Owner as private quarters and is not available to guests. Guest access Parking is next to sidewalk that leads to front door. Rural community with good paved roads and cell phone serve. Less than a mile to I-85 and I-40. During your stay There is a service bell in the foyer you can ring for immediate assistance. Because this is a working farm, the host may be outside but can be reached via cell phone that will be provided to you upon check-in. Other things to note Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the farm. The B&B is very private and other than breakfast or check-in, the owner will not disturb you but will be available if needed. You are free to explore the property at your leisure. Driveway gate will stay open during your stay so you can come and go without worrying about a gate being closed. Weekend guests have a menu to order breakfast. Weekday guests enjoy a continental breakfast with coffee/tea but can upgrade to a full-service breakfast with a 48 hour advance notice and will be charged $25/per guest at check-in.
