The Smiling Moose Lodge is perfect for your next family getaway. The house sleeps 16 in beds and has plenty of space for the whole family and then some. Centrally located between Traverse City, Crystal Mountain Ski and Golf Resort, the City of Cadillac, and Caberfae Peaks ski resort. The ORV trail for snowmobiling starts at the end of the driveway and the Manistee River is 3 minutes away where you can enjoy all of nature by canoe, kayak (4 provided) or boat. The space After entering through the slate tiled entryway, the house opens up to a large kitchen/dining room. As you walk towards the living room your eyes will naturally look up to the towering 30 foot tongue and groove ceiling and the wall of windows overlooking a portion of the 13 acres the house is set on. The main floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The spacious master bedroom features a king size bed and en suite bathroom with stone shower and claw foot tub. The 2nd bedroom on the main level has a king size bed as well. In the loft you will find 3 additional bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedroom at the top of the stairs has a queen and a twin bed. Adjacent to the bedroom is a large bathroom that houses a subway tiled shower with glass enclosure and freestanding tub. The loft is another great gathering place! There is a 2nd tv, sectional sofa and a ping pong/air hockey table for everyone to enjoy. Bedroom 4 is set up with a queen, full and twin size bed. Bedroom 5 is the bunk room with tandem twin bunk beds. Amenities: - All linens/towels are provided - Toilet paper is provided - 1 Starter roll of paper towel is provided - Wifi internet access (high speed fiber) - 4 kayaks (no life jackets) - "Cornhole" or "Bags" outdoor game - Giant Jenga - "Kan Jam" - Smart TVs (2) one on main level and one in the loft - BBQ Grill; propane provided - Firepit with firewood included ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR MORE THAN 16 GUESTS: $20/PERSON, PER NIGHT. Guest access You will need your own vehicle to get around Mesick and the surrounding areas. ATV and snowmobile trails are close by as well. We have plenty of parking for all guests and room for boat/atv/snowmobile trailers . Other things to note All linens and towels provided, just bring your sense of adventure or willingness to relax. As a guest of our home you are required to pay a refundable $500 damage deposit. This damage deposit will be requested from you 1 week before check-in and paid through Airbnb. As long as there are no damages to the home and check-out procedures are followed, you will receive your damage deposit back within 72 hours after check-out. We also require you to sign a rental agreement that will be sent to you after the reservation is confirmed. You will need to provide us with a good e-mail address to send the contract. We have a 16 guest capacity. If you have more than 16 guests, you must notify us and there is an additional charge of $20/person, per night. If our main rule of hosting a bachelor or bachelorette party/party in general is violated, you will forfeit your entire damage deposit.
