Cozy Escape on the Gatineau River!

Coziest cottage with the best views of the Gatineau River! Everyone on "the Gat" thinks they have the best view, but we think we REALLY do! We cannot count the mornings we've looked out and said "Wow, check out the view, it's incredible!!"... it never gets old and we're thrilled to able to share it with our guests! An 18min drive from downtown Ottawa and an 8min drive to Chelsea or Wakefield. NCC groomed cross-country ski trail runs right off the foot of our laneway! High speed Wifi & parking. The space We are on a waterfront property so seasonally, boating, fishing, swimming, canoeing/SUP'ing and skating are all possible! We have a fabulous dock system & swim-up raft and a fantastic deck overlooking the waterfront, where you can sit and watch the sunrise or sunset colours. If it's a snowy day you can sled down the hills into the bay or hop on the NCC nordic ski trail... Prefer alpine skiing? You can whip over to Camp Fortune or Vorlage for a run or two, which are both just an 8-10min drive. Stay in and enjoy our incredible view cozied up in front of our fabulous wood burning fireplace! Guest access All bedrooms and other living/cooking/dining spaces are all located on the main floor when you walk in to our cottage. To get down to the backyard/water/ice you can use the stairs running down along the left hand side of cottage. We have storage locked in our basement for personal property along with laundry.
