The space This cozy yet spacious hideaway is on the third floor of a stately Portland row house in the Deering Street Historical District. High ceilings, abundant light, and an open living area give a bright and airy feel to the space. You’ll be well-connected with the super speedy Wi-Fi, Internet TV, and Bluetooth-friendly sound system. The decor is comfortably elegant, minimal, never fussy. The thoroughly modern, recently renovated kitchen features stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and is well-equipped with dishes, glassware and cookware. Large bedroom features queen bed, six-drawer dresser, with a dedicated desk and ergo chair optimized for working remotely. Quality linens throughout. Upstairs is an additional open loft sleeping space with skylights that makes a great reading nook or alternative work space. Large, modernized full bath, plenty of closet space, shared laundry in the basement. You’ll have direct access to a shared rooftop deck (that few in the complex ever use) with city view. Fantastic details throughout. Very well-behaved dogs may be allowed: please inquire. Guest access Portland is a very walkable town and we are right in the middle of it all. We're a block away from trendy Congress Street, with boutiques and restaurants, galleries and the Portland Museum of Art. You can easily walk to the Old Port, the elegant West End, even Munjoy Hill a short distance away. Note that we don't have access to free street parking, but our monthly price has been set lower than comparable stays, so you can purchase a monthly pass at one of the local parking garages if needed (there's one across the street.)
