And Cua Dai Port is five minutes away, so a day trip out to Cu Lao Cham island is simple. 👋 For nine years my sister Chloe and I have hosted families here, and honestly the house is only half of it. Guests write about us more than anything else. We treat you like a friend who happens to live nearby: easy to reach when you need something, out of the way when you don't. 🏊 There is a private 10 x 3 meter pool, 30 square meters, kept spotless, that the kids can stay in all day, with the garden and living spaces opening around it so you can watch them from the shade. 🛁 The room guests remember is the Riverview bedroom: 45 square meters with its own hot tub and a view over the Thu Bon. It is a lovely spot for the grandparents, or for parents who want a quiet soak at the end of the day. 🛏️ Every bed is a soft, comfortable King, and all four bedrooms have their own bathroom, so nobody waits in line: - Ground-floor bedroom (25 sqm): King bed, no stairs, easy for grandparents or anyone who would rather skip the steps. - Balcony bedroom (30 sqm): King bed, breezy and bright. - Riverview bedroom (45 sqm): King bed, private hot tub, river views. The treat of the house. - Family bedroom (45 sqm): two King beds in one large room, comfortable for up to 4 adults and 2 children together. 👪 Altogether the villa suits a big family or two families traveling as one, up to 10 adults and 5 young children. The kitchen, living room, and pool are open and shared, so everyone stays together while each pair still has a room of their own to retreat to. 🛌 Need even more room to sleep? An extra mattress is 300,000 VND a week (about 12 USD). 🧼 On cleaning I am a bit particular. We use a different color of cloth for each area and never mix them: green for glassware, gray for bathrooms, orange for kitchen counters, brown for cookware and dishes. 🧺 There is a washer and dryer with detergent included, which the families who stay a week or two tell me they could not do without. A baby cot and high chair are here if you need them, at no extra charge. 🦟 We are in a green spot near the river, so we stay ahead of the mosquitoes: the villa is sprayed once a month, and there is repellent in the house for you, with a few simple tips to keep your rooms clear. 🌙 The neighborhood is calm and safe, with a police station close by. It is quiet and a little dark at night the way a riverside area is, so I keep the garden lit. 🍳 Breakfast, if you want it: one of our team cooks it fresh at the villa, at whatever time suits you, for about 4 USD a person. With a big family it is a lot easier than getting everyone out to a restaurant in the morning. 🗺️ I can also arrange the things that make a Hoi An trip easy: a private chef dinner cooked right here (Cao Lau, White Rose dumplings, fresh Cua Dai seafood), an airport pickup or a driver for the day, a bonfire night for the children, or a boat trip to Cu Lao Cham from the port nearby. 🧵 Hoi An is famous for tailoring, too. If you would like clothes made to measure, I can introduce you to a tailor I trust and save you the guesswork. None of these extras are needed to enjoy your stay. They are simply here if you want them. 🎂 One more thing.
